Hello, everyone on this noble platform and the Hive ecosystem at large. I am very excited to write and share this wonderful article with you all, and I hope that you guys will enjoy reading it as well. Today, I am writing this post as part of the Splinterladns Social Media Challenge, and it is an exciting one that I think you all will love.
In my Splinterlands Social Media post last week, I shared with you all how I purchased my Spellbook and also my card rental journey right after buying the spellbook. Today, I will share an amazing battle that I hope you guys will like. After playing several battles and advancing to the bronze league, I understand that it is not as easy as it was when I used to play on the wood stage.
The battle was a 16 mana battle where I selected my team from the Water Deck this time around and not from the Earth deck. All six elements were active in the battle and the ruleset as usual was the Standard. My Djinn Oshannus monster with the void ability was able to resist the magic attacks from the Life Sapper monster from my opponent.
My Pelacor Bandit attacks the last position monster in my opponent's team with the aid of its sneak ability. It was able to hit an attack in the first round by decreasing the health of Soul Strangler by one. No monster elimination happened in the first round.
In the second round, the Pelacor Bandit monster was able to attack and eliminate the Soul Strangler monster in my opponent's team. I started to have hope of winning the battle at that stage. My opponent had one monster left whilst I had four in my team.
The Cursed Windeku monster missed its attack in the fourth round, and that was a good miss for me. If he didn't have missed that he could have won the battle but it was rather unfortunate for him.
Once he eliminated my Djinn Oshannus monster, he got the chance to eliminate the next because it was a no-attack monster so free to attack me in all rounds. Luckily for me, the last monster in my team was a melee attack monster with armor protection from the Summoner's ability.
It did the final attack in the round and, I emerged victorious. The battle link is here for you. Link
