Will you stand against the cold?
In the frozen wastelands of the Ice Barrens, where the bitter cold claims the unprepared, a being of unfathomable power has risen once more. The Frostbound Tyrant, an ancient warlord encased in cursed permafrost, stirs from his icy tomb, seeking dominion over all who dare oppose him.
The Awakening of the Tyrant
Long ago, the Ice Barrens were home to an empire ruled by the ruthless King Vaelgros. Obsessed with immortality, he made a pact with the Iceborn spirits, trading his humanity for eternal life. His flesh turned to enchanted ice, and his heart pulsed with a frozen curse. His subjects rebelled, sealing him within a glacier of unbreakable frost. For centuries, his prison remained untouched—until now.
A great cataclysm shattered the ancient ice, and Vaelgros rose again. With every step, the land freezes, lakes turn to solid ice, and storms of razor-sharp snow cut through the sky. His return heralds an age of endless winter, and no living being is safe from his cold wrath.
The Dominion of Ice
Vaelgros does not rise alone. His frozen legions, spectral ice warriors and frost revenants, march under his banner. Their chilling presence saps the warmth from the air, and their weapons shatter even the strongest steel. Cities fall to frost, their people frozen in place, mere statues in the growing kingdom of ice.
Across the Splinterlands, factions scramble to resist the inevitable. Fire mages, earth shamans, and arcane scholars seek to counter the ever-expanding ice, but with each passing day, the cold spreads further. Vaelgros is relentless, his ambition limitless.
The Emberheart Relic
Only one force is said to rival the Tyrant’s frost—the Emberheart Relic, a legendary artifact hidden deep within the volcanic caverns of the Ashen Peaks. A group of brave warriors must venture into the fiery depths, risking their lives to recover the only weapon capable of melting Vaelgros’s curse. But time is running out. The longer he reigns, the colder the world becomes.
As the final battle draws near, the question lingers: Can the Splinterlands survive the Frostbound Tyrant’s wrath, or will the world be buried beneath an age of eternal ice?
