Beginner tips: Why you should have 2 chickens

in Splinterlands3 years ago (edited)

If you are starting to play now, you must have realized each battle is different with its own rulesets. Some of these rules ban cards with a type of attack, they are:

  • Keep Your Distance: melee cards are banned
  • Broken Arrows: ranged cards are banned
  • Lost Magic: magic cards are banned

As you can see, the Furious Chicken has no attack at level 1 and 2, but has at least 1 melee damage from level 3 onwards. If you own a golden chicken (starts at level 3) or has leveled yours, you won't be able to play it in the Keep Your Distance rule.

And that's why you should also have a level 1 chicken in case you have a leveled one.

Some other cards also have no attack at level 1, that you could consider having in case you like them.
Some of them are:

  • Goblin Shaman
  • Crustacean King
  • Mermaid Healer
  • Swamp Thing
  • Divine Healer
  • Baby Unicorn
  • Armorsmith
  • Silvershield Bard
  • Undead Priest
  • Creeping Ooze

Hope this has helped you, also if you are looking for a site to find cards by stats, abilities, and others parameters, I suggest visiting my site, Monster Finder.

Cheers
