Great advice there, and I am still learning, so thank you. Half a year ago or a bit more I didn't even know that it is not OK to upvote your own comments, then I learned it was a no no. I did hear that it is OK to upvote your own posts if you put a lot of effort into it. I guess that is also not really OK?

There is a lot to learn about Hive, but I actually think competition here is not as tough as on more mainstream content creation sites.

If you ask me, its a no. I will tell you why. My 100% vote is about $10. Imagine me posting two times a day, spam, and upvoting my post at 100%. That is $140/week for writing shitpost. Would you like that?

The entire reward pool is common, if I take additional $140/week from the reward pool that is $140/week less for the rest of you.

Makes sense, I was rarely doing it and will stop now.
