The Beginning Dec 2021
Splinterlands has been a wild journey. I started Splinterlands in December 2021. When I first played this game, I was super confused about everything. I sucked at the game but I still spent 10 dollars for the spellbook to play the game to earn. You could actually play the game for free but you can't have your own name or earn rewards. I played this game but I wasn't too into it until....
Scholarship March 2022-Present
I believe somewhere in March 2022 there was a million dollar pack opening by Balthazar. They also started to offer scholarships and this was where I applied and I got in. This is when I started getting good at the game and from here I actually wanted to own my own collection. This was the start of me starting to collect my own cards because I enjoyed the game and I saw the potential. I'm still in the scholarship now playing in diamond/champion and you may notice the account if you played me im @bltzr-wizard-727.
Blogging November 2022-Present
I believe around this time I started blogging. I mostly blogged about Splinterlands in the beginning. I did the weekly share your battle challenges and the social media challenges. Now we don't have those weekly battle challenges they are called battle mage secrets. This eventually led me to see the greatness of blogging and I started to blog about other things like food, music, life and some random prompts
SPLTV Phase December 2022-October2023
There was a time when SPLTV was one of the initiatives by Splinterlands. The highlight of this was me winning the Gold Foil Kitty from the last big giveaway before they discontinued SPLTV. To be honest, I kind of miss SPLTV because it was a great place to chat and listen to what others though about the game and the updates. I'm still holding onto that Kitty; it has such a big memory for me as it's the biggest giveaway prize I've won in my life. I feel like I know the feeling of how someone wins the lottery now.
Present
I think it's crazy to think I started with 10 dollars and I have now amassed over $10,0000 through the Splinterlands and hive. Just my card collection is worth almost $8000 dollars. I also have over 100k SPS and almost 3000 hive power. We are also potentially at the beginning of the next bullrun so who knows if this will be worth way more in the coming months.
I also started my own guild so there's that too which isn't counted in the value as well. I made a lot of great friends in my scholarship and through my guild. I also help manage new bot order 1 and new bot order 2.
I don't have any land though as it never got to me but I will do land surfing.
So here I shared the GF legendaries that I own.
Conclusion
What an amazing journey I had in Splinterlands. I also made a lot of great people as well. I'm looking forward to the future of Splinterlands and I hope more people can see that this is a great game that gives value back to the players. I'm grateful to be here and I wouldn't be blogging without Splinterlands so thank you!
