In today's post, I would like to share with you the replay of a very peculiar battle, but not because of some miraculous strategy or anything like that, but because of the simple fact that we must pay close attention to the rules of battles so as not to commit a big mistake “miss play”.
And in this case, it was a huge one, with hilarious factors that, honestly, we ask ourselves: “why did he do that?”, was it a bot or a player?
Come with me and I'll explain better what happened and obviously, how not to play when there is the COUNTERSPELL battle rule.
The COUNTERSPELL Battle Rule
This battle rule is still a novelty, as it arrived a short time ago and was accompanied by two others: FIRE & REGRET and BRIAR PATCH. Basically, these new rules add a specific ability to all monsters on the battlefield:
- MAGIC REFLECT: The unit that has this ability, returns the magic damage suffered.
- RETURN FIRE: Same functionality, but returns ranged damage taken.
- THORNS: This one is already well known, it returns the damage suffered by a melee attack.
Unfortunately, on the Splintercards website, we still haven't added these three new rules in the rules section, so we can answer questions, or use your image, for example.

Since, in fact, the rule adds a skill to units on the battlefield, then we can be guided by this gained skill:

In short, the returned damage is divided by 2 and rounded up. We still have some pretty interesting interactions with other skills like AMPLIFY and BLAST.
You might be wondering why these two skills aren't mentioned?
What's happening?
That was the question I asked myself when the battle began. Firstly, the battle rules are as follows, adding BLAST and MAGIC REFLECT for everyone, with 50 mana points and the elements water, earth, life and death available.

At the same time I decided that I would go with the element of death and its magic and health damage reduction. As much as reducing magic damage could get in the way of something, I already had in mind to use CABALIST, with its AMPLIFY skill, which increases the damage caused by these return skills.

Alright, he has magic damage as an attack, it was a bit risky to use him, but I believed that I could take more opponents first, than him dying for the return, or whatever other way it is.
A very cool combination is also that since I use CURSED WINDEKU which has THORNS, the return for melee attacks would also be increased.
So the battle begins and what am I faced with? Exactly with this:

What do you dare say happened, for my opponent to come with this team configuration? Any distractions or simply escalate the team on automatic without noticing the details?
This battle was so funny, that this time I didn't even bother to explain why each monster on my team was in X position. You will understand this better in the next topic!
Battle
As we can see, not even if I wanted to lose this battle would I lose, not even if my monsters couldn't attack, would my opponent be defeated.
Remember I talked about BLAST? So, for each monster hit by the explosion, caused by magic damage, there will be a return! With that, when they hit my NIGHT GHOUL unit, which has TAUNT, that is, it centers attacks on them, each monster would receive 3 times the return damage and that with AMPLIFY rolling freely!

Of course I won't let you down, so I made a GIF showing the moment when MAGI OF CHAOS and MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN are defeated, simply receiving 6 points of damage just with the return of their magic attack!

With this suicide squad, my opponent practically bought defeat with this team that escalated into battle. I would also say that the use of the AMPLIFY skill was very well served in my favor, causing even greater damage.
An even irrelevant observation, let's say, but that I noticed, was the number of shares in this first round, which were 48! What's the biggest you've ever seen?
Round 2
A real disaster, that's all that was left of his team in the second round, decreeing the eminent victory for me. SILENT SHA-VI and DHAMPIR STALKER did the honors and took down the last few opponents.

Considerations
Nobody is perfect and mistakes happen. Making mistakes is not a sin and it can happen to anyone. In order to show this battle and to be able to observe, as even a simple detail, paying attention to the rules of battles, can compromise the entire play.
At the end of the first round, some opposing units were already defeated only with the return of their own attacks, not to mention the double error that there was still BLAST in everyone.
Here's the basic teaching: play calmly and pay attention to the rules we have in battle, because that could be all the difference between winning and losing.

Bem-Vindos Splinters!
Na postagem de hoje gostaria de compartilhar com vocês o replay de uma batalha bem peculiar, mas não pelo fato de alguma estratégia miraculosa ou algo assim e sim, pelo simples fato de que devemos prestar bastante atenção nas regras de batalhas para não cometer uma grande “miss play”.
E neste caso, foi uma gigantesca, com fatores hilários que sinceramente, a gente se pergunta: “por que ele fez isso?”, será que era um robô ou um jogador?
Vem comigo que explico melhor o que aconteceu e obviamente, como não jogar quando houver a regra de batalha COUNTERSPELL.
A regra de Batalha COUNTERSPELL
Essa regra de batalha ainda é uma novidade, pois chegou a pouco tempo e acompanhada de outras duas: FIRE & REGRET e BRIAR PATCH. Basicamente, essas novas regras adicionam uma habilidade específica para todos os monstros no campo de batalha:
- MAGIC REFLECT: A unidade que possui essa habilidade, retorna o dano mágico sofrido.
- RETURN FIRE: Mesmo funcionamento, mas retorna o dano a distância sofrido.
- THORNS: Essa já é bem conhecida, retorna o dano sofrido por um ataque corpo a corpo.
Infelizmente, no site Splintercards, ainda não temos adicionadas essas três novas regras na seção de regras, para podermos tirar dúvidas, ou utilizar sua imagem, por exemplo.

Como, na verdade, a regra adiciona uma habilidade para as unidades no campo de batalha, então podemos nos orientar por essa habilidade ganha:

Em resumo, o dano retornado, é dividido por 2 e arredondado para cima. Ainda temos algumas interações bem interessantes com outras habilidades, como AMPLIFY e BLAST.
Você já deve estar se perguntando o porquê da menção dessas duas habilidades não?
O Que Está Acontecendo?
Essa foi a pergunta que me fiz, quando começou a batalha. Primeiramente as regras da batalha são as que segue abaixo, adicionando BLAST e MAGIC REFLECT para todos, com 50 pontos de mana e os elementos água, terra, vida e morte disponíveis.

Na mesma hora decidi que iria com o elemento morte e a sua redução de dano mágico e de vida. Por mais que reduzir o dano mágico poderia atrapalhar em algo, já tinha em mente utilizar o CABALIST, com a sua habilidade AMPLIFY, que aumenta o dano causado por essas habilidades de retorno.

Tudo bem, ele tem como ataque o dano mágico, foi um pouco arriscado utilizar ele, mas acreditei que conseguiria levar mais adversários primeiro, do que ele morrendo para o retorno, ou seja lá qual for outro jeito.
Uma combinação bem legal também é que como utilizo CURSED WINDEKU que possui THORNS, o retorno para os ataques corpo a corpo também seriam aumentados.
Então, a batalha começa e com o que me deparo? Exatamente com isso:

O que vocês arriscam dizer que aconteceu, para que meu adversário viesse com essa configuração de equipe? Alguma distração ou simplesmente escalar o time no automático sem notar os detalhes?
Essa batalha foi tão zoada, que dessa vez nem dei o trabalho de explicar o porquê de cada monstro da minha equipe em X posição. Vocês irão entender isso melhor no próximo tópico!
Batalha
Como podemos observar, nem se eu quisesse perder essa batalha eu perderia, nem se meus monstros não conseguissem atacar, meu adversário seria derrotado.
Lembra que falei do BLAST? Então, para cada monstro atingido pela explosão, originada por dano mágico, irá acontecer um retorno! Com isso, ao acertarem a minha unidade NIGHT GHOUL, que possui TAUNT, ou seja, centraliza os ataques neles, cada monstro iria receber 3 vezes o dano de retorno e isso com AMPLIFY rolando solto!

Claro que não deixarei vocês na mão, então fiz um GIF mostrando o momento em que MAGI OF CHAOS e MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN são derrotados, simplesmente recebendo 6 pontos de dano apenas com o retorno de seu ataque mágico!

Com esse esquadrão suicida, meu adversário praticamente comprou a derrota com essa equipe que escalou para a batalha. Diria, também, que a utilização da habilidade AMPLIFY foi muito bem servida ao meu favor, fazendo um estrago maior ainda.
Uma observação até irrelevante, digamos, mas que notei, foi a quantidade de ações nesta primeira rodada, que foram 48! Qual foi o máximo que vocês já viram?
Rodada 2
Um verdadeiro desastre, foi apenas isso que sobrou da equipe dele na segunda rodada, decretando a vitória eminente para mim. SILENT SHA-VI e DHAMPIR STALKER fizeram as honras e levaram os últimos adversários.

Considerações
Ninguém é perfeito e erros acontecem. Errar não pecado e pode acontecer com qualquer um. O intuito de mostrar essa batalha e para podermos observar, como um detalhe até simples, prestar atenção nas regras de batalhas, podem comprometer toda a jogada.
No fim da primeira rodada, algumas unidades adversárias já estavam derrotadas apenas com o retorno de seus próprios ataques, sem contar o duplo erro de que havia ainda a BLAST em todos.
Fica por aqui o ensinamento básico: jogue com calma e preste atenção nas regras que temos na batalha, pois isso pode ser toda a diferença entre ganhar e perder.

A combinação das habilidades Amplify com blast e Magic Reflect foi muito danosa ao oponente. Uma sugestão seria utilizar venator kinjo depois do tanque que tem Taunt. Mas como tu falou de todo jeito ganharia a batalha.
Realmente o Venator salva bastante nas batalhas com blast, ele protege bem o resto da equipe, eu não tinha pensado nele nessa batalha por que acabei focando apenas no retorno de magia.
