Intro: (short small talk)
Hi, everyone. How are you doing? I was chilling and searching for yugioh clips and saw this game, Splinterlands, where you can play cards for a promise of earning. I checked them and saw that the entry wasn't so steep and tried it. I liked it.
I was surprised because I thought it was a scam at first like the $ZOO from Logan Paul but it was actually a very decent game. It also has a lot of freebies like the Chaos Legion packs given for free when you pay for the spellbook. It's an interesting game and given my background on TCG, I'd say that Splinterlands is surprisingly easy to play with compared to other TCG. The abilities are direct to the point and easy to remember as well.
My Top 3 Battles for this Week:
That Reach ability from Maneuvers rule set was really useful this game. I can use Disintegrator on the 2nd position for the Demoralize and his damage. I recently started using abilities that lower the enemy's damage and it is great. Mycelic Infantry reduces melee and range damage and Demoralize helps with that.

Djinn Oshannus is really good. His Void ability reduces magic damage and the high speed makes the enemies miss their other attacks. Kelya Frendul is also a good summoner when you spam 0 and 1 cost units. They get extra armor which is hard to deal with if your enemies uses a lot of melee units.

Chaos Dragon is slowly becoming one of my favorites. I don't use him a lot because of low mana in battles but when I can, he's one of the strongest. He rarely attacks the one in the 1st position which are usually the units with highest health so it helps a lot reducing the enemy's number of units immediately.

These are all the rewards I got for this week.
I was able to get from new account to bronze using the ones I get to rent for 20 days. I don't know the cards. The website just said I should rent it since I am starting so I did.
Then, I rented some cards I found useful after I got to bronze 1 and that got me to silver 2
