Hello Splinterlands community!
For this participation, I drew inspiration from "Pelacor Mercenary," portraying him as a winged bartender in a magical potion bar. In the illustration, he's seen carrying a crate of potions and more. I also used his beard and hair color to further assimilate him into the "generic" bar style. I hope you like the design and style. Stay tuned, and I'll show you the process.

Para esta participación, me inspiré en "Pelacor Mercenary" y lo representé como un barman con alas en un mágico bar de pociones. En la ilustración, se le ve llevando una caja de pociones y más. También utilicé su barba y color de pelo para asimilarlo aún más al estilo "genérico" de bares. Espero que disfruten del diseño y el estilo. Quédate y te mostraré el proceso.
PROCESS
To streamline the design and following a style similar to the illustration, I started adding a glow to his eyes and gave him tattoos with the text "mercenary," "pay," and teeth, resembling the Splinterlands bite logo, on his forehead.
Para facilitar el diseño y siguiendo el estilo similar a la ilustración, comencé a agregar resplandor en sus ojos y le hice tatuajes con el texto "mercenary," "pay," y los dientes, como el logo de la mordida de Splinterlands, en su frente.
Next, I proceeded to add wings behind to resemble the illustration on the card. After making light corrections and darkening the wings and character, I placed a top light to highlight the final image.
Then, I started placing the title corresponding to the card or character's name.
Luego, procedí a colocarle alas por detrás para asimilarlo con la ilustración de la carta. Después de hacer correcciones de luz y oscurecer las alas y el personaje, ubiqué una luz superior para resaltar la imagen final.
Después, comencé a ubicar el título correspondiente al nombre de la carta o personaje.
To complement the other part of the title, I began by copying the text "MERCENARY," selecting the layer, and rasterizing it to duplicate it in the same layer. Then, by creating a mask, I started removing part of the text to apply a gradient and make it appear above the wings.
Para complementar la otra parte del título, comencé copiando el texto "MERCENARY", seleccionando la capa y rasterizándola para duplicarla en la misma capa. Luego, al crear una máscara, empecé a eliminar parte del texto para poder aplicar un degradado y que quede por encima de las alas.
To continue with a nod to the design, I started by adding potions, giving them a falling position and applying Gaussian effects for blur and enhanced depth. Then, I created another layer and used it as a motion effect to finally achieve the goal of the falling effect.
Similarly, I used the same effect with the other two potions, and as you can see, they complement well as primary colors that perfectly match the green of the character's jacket.
Para continuar con un guiño al diseño, comencé por agregar pociones, otorgándoles una posición en caída y aplicándoles efectos gaussiano para un desenfoque y mayor profundidad. Luego, creé otra capa y la utilicé como efecto de movimiento para finalmente lograr el objetivo de darle el efecto de la caída.
De la misma manera, utilicé el mismo efecto con las otras dos pociones, y como pueden ver, complementan muy bien al ser colores primarios que combinan perfectamente con el verde de la chaqueta del personaje.
Then, for the background, I took some time to generate an image that fit perfectly as a bar, as mentioned earlier. I also created a layer mask, erasing the bottom part of the image and leaving the top part. I hope you liked this representation with a bartender style in the character's bar.
Luego, para el fondo, me tomé un tiempo para generar una imagen que encajara perfectamente como un bar, tal como mencioné anteriormente. También creé una máscara de capa, borrando la parte inferior de la imagen y dejando la parte superior. Espero que te haya gustado esta representación con un estilo de bartender en el bar del personaje.
