Release Notes
Hallow's Fall Comes To Praetoria
The holiday spirit has invaded the site! Some art has been temporarily replaced with holiday themed versions. Once the Glamour system is added, you may be able to obtain more permanent copies of these skins.
Gameplay Updates
Five new rule sets have been added to the game!
Heavy Metal - You can only summon armored units.
Might Makes Right - You can only summon units with 3 or more ranged, magic, or melee power.
Need for Speed - You can only summon units with 3 or more speed.
Deflection Field - All units have the Reflection Shield ability.
Beefcakes - You can only summon units with 5 or more health.
The reset of resurrection 'stun' has been moved to occur before Poison, Burning, and other round effects. Now if a Unit dies, and returns to play, due to one of these effects they will no longer act on that turn.
Fixed an issue with Last Stand processing when multiple Units died and some returned to play, that could lead to Last Stand incorrectly triggering.
Fixed an issue with Cleanse Rearguard where the first position unit could be cleansed if it was not the original Unit in that position.
Added animation handling for Poison deaths following the Ambush round. Previously Units that died from Poison damage following an Ambush attack would hang around on the screen longer than intended.
Fixed the display of the Enfeebled debuff.
Fixed the display of Blind and Affliction when caused by a Summoner debuffing the enemy team. They will no longer incorrectly appear as if the Units had been granted these abilities. This only fixes the display of new battles, and older ones may still display this incorrectly.
Fixed the handling of battles when both players use the same card. This would only happen with rentals in Tournaments/Brawls, when the rental expired after the first player submitted a team and then the second player rented the same card and submitted it as part of the opposing team. This fix will only address new battles, and previous ones where this occurred may still replay with odd UI glitches.
The Corrosive Fog rule set has been disabled, as we felt it didn't provide interesting gameplay choices and had a lengthy animation sequence per round.
The Equal Opportunity and Maneuvers rule sets will no longer appear together.
General Updates
Added a Reward History screen where you can replay past tier advancement rewards.
Updated the league advancement chest reward display to have the more standard options on other pack/chest opening screens: reveal all rewards, the potions used, and a link to share the rewards replay.
Updated the League Info page to show the reward chests for each tier.
Flipped the positions of the Battle button and the Mana info on the Team Create screen to help users accidentally clicking the top navigation menu when trying to submit a team.
The base mana cap will be capped at 28 for matches with the Little League rule set.
Added the button to Hide Starter Cards during team creation on Mobile sized screens.
Brawl animations will now only play once per brawl. You can clear your browser cache to get them to replay additional times.
Fixed an issue with Guild invites being case sensitive.
Fixed an issue with the low card fray checks. They were only working for gold foil status or total number of cards, but now it also properly checks that the edition is legal for the fray as well.
When assigning guild members to frays, the list of guild members will now be sorted by collection power.
The shortened balances on the header on Mobile displays will now round the amounts down.
The Owned value of items on the owned section of the non-card market will now include the total of all items you have on the market, ready to be opened, and external sites like Hive Engine.
Fixed the redirection to the battle history after renting a card set.
Fixed an issue with incorrect burn costs displaying on the UI if you selected both regular and gold foil cards to be part of the same transaction.
Removed several items from the Other Items page that were already present on the header, like Credits and Dark Energy Crystals. Also, added a display of Mage Wagons to this screen.
Only Ranked battles will be added to the Top Battles display going forward.
The current Tutorial has been shortened slightly and some of the text has been updated to better reflect the state of the game.
The SPS data returned now has more granular information for reserve wallets, the DAO holdings, and the null address.
Added a message on the battle results if you failed to get rewards due to using all starter cards or having 0 SPS staked.
Clarified the battle results bonus display to show that 'Prefix Titles' grants a bonus, not 'Titles'.
Updated some Splinterbites to fix incorrect ability naming.
Fixed the links in the Mana Warden lore.
Items Hotfixed into the Game Prior to the Release
Fixed issues with the new header not working properly for touch screen devices, such as tablets.
Added Guild sub-menus to the new header.
Fixed an issue with Play always going to Modern format on the new header.

The upcoming third promotional cards will be loaded.
General Updates
Will add the ability to close out the low card warning without navigating to the shop or continuing to the battle.
Will update the Gladius Case purchase notification to have a link to the Mana Well.

How Do I Vote On SPS Governance Proposals?
- Read the Support article above to better understand how to vote on the SPS Governance proposals
- Access proposals on the SPS Proposal Page
I still think about why Splinterlands does put few ads on the page. There is still empty space in the UI , can put the ads without any impact to UX and gain some $
That will dilute the brand too much. How many games do you see with ads on them? There are partnerships with other projects. They are not the same as having regular ads.
