With the recent rise adoption of Splinterlands, there has also been an increase in youtube channels that are focused around the game. Youtube is generally a great source of info for those who want to keep up while having limited time. These are some of the Youtubers that Splinterlands Players should be following...
- Bulldog1205
He has already got around 16k subscribers in his Youtube Channel also being active on Hive (@bulldog1205) having joined April 2021. He covers everything around the game so if you want to stay up to date on what is happening with the Development of the game he's a great YouTuber to follow. I also think took the jump to do this full-time and you see that effort is being put into everything with a nice inro and background images. He also is on Twitch streaming the game () and has a Discord Channel.
- Dwayne Cunningham
What I really like about the Youtube Channel of Dwayne Cunningham which currently has 3.75k subscribers is how he is able to bring about the right mindset when it comes down to Splinterlands. He very much understands that it is a long-term game and if you want to do well you need some kind of commitment being willing to buy cards when they are cheap and holding them for a long time. So for anyone who is patient and willing to build their account in order to profit later down the line instead of aiming to make a quick buck, this is probably the channel to follow as he puts his money where his mouth is. He is also bringing excellent advice on many aspects of the game and also has some nice tutorials along with informational videos on things like what it costs to play in silver. He is also posting on Hive under the name @infidel1258 which is an account that dates back from 2017.
- Crypto Llama
I missed out on the Youtube Channel of Crypto Llama even though I am actually subscribed to it. Many commented in the replies that he deserved to be in there and he looks to be a fan favorite! You will find a lot of tips & tricks in his videos along with some guides and he seems to opt for Quality over Quantity with 1 or 2 videos a week that all are around 5-7 Minutes long which is excellent for those who want things time-efficient.
- Making Money
Another channel that I initially overlooked while actually being subscribed to is that of Making Money or @just2random on Hive. He as around 25k Subscribers and the main topic is money in Splinterlands showing what the best strategies are to do well financially in the game.Certainly worth a follow with useful and unique information.
- Luke Plays To Earn
I got a video of Luke Plays To Earn recommended on my Youtube home page and my initial impression was instantly pretty good. Especially for those starting out in the game this channel might be worth the follow as he seems to be playing multiple accounts in Silver League which might be much better to relate to compared to other channels that just have a higher-level account that is simply out of reach for most new players. He also has excellent beginner guides! He only seems to have started recently making Splinterlands his niche seeing how there is a market for these videos and up to now only has 179 subscribers. Especially if you are new to the game, make sure to give him a follow!
- CryptoStache
@cryptostache is one of the original Paly2Earn Youtubers with Splinterlands as one of his favorite games that he started putting a lot more time into after it took off. He right now has 45.1k subscribers and likey managed to bring in a lot of new players with the content he's making. If you are interested in play2earn generally, give him a follow!
- Splinterlands Guide
If you are just looking for Guides, you might want to follow the Splinterlands Guide youtube channel which is mainly focused on those. You will find guides on how to build relatively cheap decks along with general tips & tricks. Unfortunately, the guides don't seem to be cross-posted on his hive account @sl-guides
- Splinterlands Official
The official Splinterland Youtube Channel surprisingly still is below 1000 Subscribers. For now it is mainly used to upload the weekly AMA Sessions for those who want to watch/listen that weren't around live.
- Splinterlandsclove71
@clove71 has been in Splinterlands since forever and she was the one getting me started as I was gifted a promo code way back (thanks once again for this!). She now has 1.76k Subscribers and does a lot of giveaways. Most of all I would say if you like to connect to other Splinterlands players, make sure to give her a follow as she is a really kind person in general and a great part of this community! She also does a lot of blogging and reblogs many giveaways.
- SteveR82
There are most likely more content creators on youtube (Like
Soral Trading) that deserves to be on my list and feel free to share them in the comments below. For now, these were the ones I'm most aware of.I see @stever82 more as a blogger than a youtuber but he does have 3.1k subscribers on his channels where he mostly reviews news around Splinterlands development along with season reward openings and some content around other play2earn Games
