Ah 2025 is here and seriously I'm pumped for what is to come not only for the crypto markets in general but also for the Splinterlands game. I've been a long term supporter of the platform building up assets since Alpha days and I'm eager to see this game thrive once again.
Today I want to go over some of my overall 2025 big goals for the game but also break that down into what I want to accomplish and how I'll accomplish it month to month. This time starting out with the month of January!
The 2025 Goals
Now a lot can happen in a year with drastic changes in prices and so forth so these ultimate mega goals my change over time.
With land being a big focus this year from a quality dedicated developer I think we will see a lot of action in this part. Because of that not only do I want to build up all of the 142 plots of land I have now but I also want to look into picking up a few more plots if the price makes sense.
The buying of plots will most likely be something I'll need to act on fast though being that land is going to start to get a lot of publicity it means that hype around it all will most likely drive prices up at least a little bit. If not to crazy levels we saw where a kingdom 1,000 plots sold for over $700,000 on wax!
My primary focus for 2025 will be the land game which will take a rather large investment of DEC and time to get to.
Outside of that I'm also focusing in on SPS but mainly to stack a large sum of liquid SPS now that I'm well over 1 million SPS staked.
This Months Goals
With 142 plots of land I want to get all of them with at least one working on them clearing the plot. My goal for this month is to get all cleared or at least started to being cleared in preparation for land 1.75 which I'm roughly expecting end of month or mid Feb.
This means that accumulation of DEC is top priority. The main ways I get this right now is through blogging on hive like I'm doing here right now and also renting out my SPS. Yep even at these dirt cheap prices I often find it worth more to rent out my SPS still over claiming rewards although I do miss them they are lower priority over the DEC at the moment.
So there you have it my goals and focus for 2025 and how I'm going to work my way into building up a powerhouse of an account. I think what I'm most excited about though is liquidity pool fees from all the land trading that will happen or at least should happen as land grows. If land is anything like it is in other games it should be a focus of lots of time, money and resources.
