It's the strategy recommended by a YouTuber when you search for low league-level strategies. I admit I did the combo and reached silver II easily, but the renting cost was so high I ended up losing DEC overall, mainly because the game rules kept kicking out the combo. I did get 12 treasure chests by the season end though.

Yeah I agree, but often the LLAMA-KRON combo also get kicked out, like with the NO HEAL rules, etc. The best splinter to not get kicked out that often is the EARTH one, but it is also the most expensive. Xander at level 2 is like 3*$150
