I stopped using battle helper, the cost is just to high to justify its usage at lower/middle tiers. However I do still use the Xbot to automate gameplay on days I'm working. If you can afford 20-40 DEC per match for battle helper good on you for supporting the ecosystem however for myself DEC is becoming much harder to come by and I can barely keep up with guild donations.
Yeah, I think battle helpers are a big reason why battles are harder. From what I've read, the Xbot BH was stopped, but when they realized private helpers are still being used, they decided to bring it back to even the playing field. So we're stuck with them until the TOS is updated again.
