Greetings, my dear Splintelands mate!
I hope all of you are enjoying the Splinterlands and having great time with the game with new updates regarding the Land Expansion 1.75. Especially, the new resources are making you exploring more opportunity in the game and you are also making you strategy for the upcoming Land expansion 2.0 in the coming days. Gladiator cards are those exceptionally strong fighters that can often turn a lost battle into a win in any format of Splinterlands battle. You must really appreciate them to have them on your team if you've played with them in the Splinterlands with higher winning ratio. It's too bad that players have to spend so much time getting them and leveling them up as you can not buy them directly in the market or the currency merit that is required for gladiators is not so easy to grab without any extra effort. Gladiators are SoulBound cards, which means you can't rent, trade, or sell them. This makes them very unique among all other editions of cards in Splinterlands.
Gladius card packs are the only way to get them in the Guild shop. You can buy them in exchange with merits that can be obtained from the Glint Shop, from loot boxes, and also you can earn in Guild Brawls. The coolest thing is that every Gladiator has the Bloodlust ability, which changes the game and makes it stronger with every kill it does. Getting Gladiators to the next level is very important as it is difficult to obtain more merits to get more gladiators. I hope this blog helps you understand as I am going to talk about why Gladiator Cards are so important, how they can help you win more fights and the best ways to get them more in numbers in this blog. You need to get as many of these monsters as you can if you want to beat your enemies and move up the ranks, no matter how experienced you are in the battle.
The crazy high power of Gladiator cards makes them so useful in battle, especially for the guild wars previously. But later, the summoners enabling using gladiators in normal battle made them part and parcel for the all players. Gladiators are different from other cards because they have a unique power called Bloodlust, which is a common ability for all gladiators. Because of this skill, they are very dangerous. As the fight goes on, each time a Gladiator kills an enemy monster, their stats improve by +1, making them stronger, faster, and more dangerous for the opponent team.
Bloodlust changes the game when you use gladiator in a battle. Once your Gladiator kills its first enemy, it's like a snowball effect. More damage, more health, and sometimes even faster!
They all have very good base stats as most Gladiators are already better than most monsters at level 1 in terms of attack and health from each splinter team.
I have solid collections of Gladiators with full collections in the common and rare but there are still a lot to pull from the Epic and Legendary category.
These gladiators are so dangerous and powerful monsters. It is not so easy to have a lot of them in the Splinterlands. As, Gladiator cards can only be obtained by members of a Guild as the best way to earn a lot of merits in every brawls you participate. So, find a good guild and join it right away if you aren't already! When you're in a guild, you can also join the group Brawls, where you can fight with Gladiators and get more SPS rewards with the precious merits bonus. The more higher level guild will give you higher merits and SPS bonus.
To buy Gladius Packs, you need to have merits. When you fight in Guild Brawls, you earn Merits. You get more Merits as your guild does better, which means you can open more packs. You can also get merits from the guild shops and from the loot chests from the ranking upper leahue in the leaderboard and you can buy direct chests in the guild shop for extra merits as your rewards. You can buy Gladius Packs from the Guild Store once you have enough Merits. There are five Gladiator cards in each pack. You can only use them in Brawls and can't trade or sell them. Your Gladiator collection gets better as you open more packs. When your Guild Store level goes up, you can earn more Merits, which lets you buy more packs more quickly.
Gladiators are very useful for fights because they are very strong, which I hope you already understand. Here are the best tips I can think of to help your Gladiators grow faster.
Participate in battles often and join a good Guild with a high rank.
A good guild could kick you out if you miss a fight, so make sure you follow the guild's rules.
You can use your GLINT tokens to buy more Merits but don't send too many because sometimes it's better to buy loot boxes than to buy Merits directly after the price has gone up twice in the shop.
If you want to get more free loot chests, try to climb up to the higher league for more loot chests.
Get more merits by opening more than one Gladius pack at once. It's better to do this to get more god pulls.
Playing Splinterlands regularly will help you build your decks with prize cards and Gladiators at the same time.

Thanks!
I fully agree that Gladiators are awesome. I just had a fight where the combination of bloodlust and enrage got my gladiators attack up to 12!
Yeah, they are insane if we can use them strategically!
yup, when this is what they look like during the fight it's awesome!
