Doesn't have to be full, but higher than bronze say. For example, if you play mix of silver and gold level cards in Bronze, you can power through it easily. As there are no limits.
Yes there have been combining cards by exsisting players. I have combined a lot of my spare broken up decks to this play account and I am playing comfortably in silver.
PS. I have no gladiator cards on this account
I am guessing someone is tracking, but it will be interesting to see what kinds of combination numbers are happening, as well as pack sales, as a handful of packs gives a pretty good start for a bronze deck in modern.
and just CL-RW pack combo is enough, and they are dirt cheap. Also CL cards can be had very cheap from the market
