Had to do a snipe quest today which I hate.
Usually I have a gameplan which focuses on maximum damage to tank or maximum sneak/opportunity for backline. However, snipe just throws me off. It hits backline but not necessarily cumulative with sneak/opportunity so it detracts from my overall strategy. I hate hate HATE it, but I didn't have a fire summoner and its what I got stuck with.
So typically I hope for life splinter and throw in this card:
Its cheap enough to not throw me off too much. Fast enough to get a hit in (or two) and has snipe so I can lock in that win.
At least the rewards weren't terrible. Any day I get rewards with no potions is a good day.

Shout out to all those Pizza and OneUp guys. Keep up the good work on making posting more fun!
It is the trickiest DQ for me, especially at low mana battles!
I have mixed feelings on snipe quest. I agree it isn't always easy to strategize around. I actually do the same as you with the Silvershield Archers a lot of the time, which is pretty strong with General Sloan. I also hate how so often when I get the quest I'll get rulesets that are no ranged and stuff like that haha.
But a good thing about the quest is it leaves you open to any splinter. A lot of people get hyper-focused on finishing the quest they just end up spamming their splinter and becoming predictable. With snipe you can use any splinter. If you have a good sniper to slot in the ruleset, you can finish up before you become predictable.
