Hello friends, hello gamers, welcome to my entry to this week's social media challenge for splinterlands. It has been amazing sharing my battle experiences with the community so far.
For this challenge, I will like to describe one of the battles I played. It is one of the battles I took part in early this morning. In this battle, my opponent and I selected different summoners. I selected Keyla Frendul of the water element which grants the friendly units +1 shield and speed but my opponent selected Obsidian of the earth element which grants the friendly units +1 magic.
We both then proceeded to select our cards for the battle. I selected Djinn Oshanus for position one mainly due to the void ability which halves the opponent's magic attack. My opponent for his first position selected Regal Peryton. I selected Magi of Chaos to be in position 2 for me and my opponent selected Venari Spellsmith. In position 3, I selected Riverboat Captain for its blast ability and the 2 magic attack. My opponent for position 3 selected Goblin Psychic presumably for the healing ability.
In the 4th position, my opponent selected Mycelic Slipspawn which possesses the taunt ability. I selected Water Caller for the 4th position for the stun ability. In 5th position, I selected Scavo Tecnomancer for the blast ability. My opponent had run out of mana and he could not select a card for the 5th position.
The 1st round began which went on for a while and by the end of this round, no card from either my team or my opponent's team was killed. However, significant damage was done to the 4th and 3rd cards on my opponent. Round 2 followed which saw my opponent's 4th, 1st and 2nd cards all die. The 2nd card died mainly due to the blast effects from my 3rd card and 5th card.
Recall in the first round significant damage was already done to my opponent's 3rd card which is Goblin Psychic the healer. To be specific, Goblin Psychic lost 2 health because of the blast but being the only card to remain, she self healed to a health of 3. Nonetheless, this was not enough to grant victory to my opponent. My 1st and 2nd cards attacked and killed my opponent's Goblin Psychic to end the battle.
This victorious battle earned me a +20 rating, 48 glint and 0.031 sps.
