Quick Intro
I started playing Splinterlands around December of 2021. It was actually my first time playing a crypto game and definitely first time using the HIVE blockchain. In an effort to help new people not struggle like I or many might, I'd like to continue updating these links and provide a good resource to find everything you need to succeed in Splinterlands and the HIVE blockchain.
Creating a Hive Account
If you buy a spellbook from splinterlands you will have a hive account.

The Game

Hive Keychain
https://Hive-Keychain.com - This needs its own section. A must have have for quicker access/logins (You can add extensions for chrome, brave and also there's the app for android/iphone)

https://Metamask.io - An easy to use wallet with browser extension available. Also app for iphone/android. You will likely want to add the binance chain to your wallet.
Coinbase.com - US based exchange/wallet
Crypto.com - Useful wallet and also has SPS listed there for purchase with fiat.

Splinterlands Node License
License tokens can be purchased in shop for $2500 in SPS plus 500 vouchers or on Hive Engine.
If you don't want to have to eventually run validator software and prefer your rewards liquid instead of automatically staked there's a nice way to earn below with a much smaller initial investment.

Splinterlands Bots (autoplays splinterlands for you when you're busy)
https://Archmage.app - Great bot, they take a share of your sps rewards, requires an Archmage, ArchmageA or ArchmageB token held in your hive account.
https://Xbot.app - haven't personally tried but once you buy token it's free.
**Liquidity Pools **
You can provide liquidity on tribaldex/beeswap for all but the BNB and ETH pools and earn SPS as rewards:
