Strategy

Q: Tell us about your lineup.
A: The rule set included earthquake so I lent more towards flying creatures as well as high health creatures.

Dark Ha'on

This creature is a great tank, it has flying to take 0 extra damage from the rule set and also has taunt to protect my backline.

Shadow Snitch

The theme of this weeks battle, but this was a good time to use Shadow Snitch because of its high health and ability to attack from the second position.

Silent Shi-va

I really like this creature as it has high stats for a low mana cost and sneak to help take out the backline.

Riftwing

Riftwing is a handy backline card to have when the rule set has either earthquake or poison. It has flying to take no damage
from earthquake and the scavenger ability gives it a good health pool towards the end of a battle, as you will see in the replay.

Gargoya Devil

If it wasn't for Gargoya Devil the match would have ended in a draw as both Riftwing's would have been left in the end. Gargoya Devil also has the 'close range' ability so if something was able to kill my Riftwing early then Gargoya Devil could still attack if it came down to their Riftwing vs my Gargoya Devil.

Rule Set

Mana: 34

Earthquake: Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.

Stampede: The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.

Results

Q: Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
A: Yes, I was very pleased with my choices for this match-up. I don't think I would choose anything different with the rule set and mana cost being the same.

Q: Do you like the SHADOW SNITCH? Why or why not?
A: Yes and no, In this battle with this rule set and mana cost it worked very well and I would happily use it again in a similar situation. In saying that this card has very low attack and speed. Its because of this that it can't be used too often as it will miss too much against higher speed creatures as well as do 0 damage against creatures with shield.
