I was expecting a magic or ranged play, possible glass cannons so decided that I was going to use my Deeplurker as my primary damage source to pluck out the glass cannons.
My Team:
Kelya Frendul
Speed buff and bonus to armor
Torrent Fiend
0 cost meat shield (some call it not a chicken)
Kelp Initiate
At only 2 mana has decent hp pool to tank some of the possible sniping hits thanks to the ruleset
Deeplurker
Main damage dealer, with opportunity great glass cannon killer
Furious Chicken
Back to buy time in case of sneak attack
Round 1
Confirmed magic battle attempt, My summoner gives me speed and one armor that will do nothing vs magic in this round. Clearly they expected a magic play so did magic damage reduction which does nothing against me in this round. Thanks to the speed buff I now match Oshannus in speed so deeplurker is not going to miss anything this looks promissing.
Round 2
All they have is Oshannus and it will take him three rounds to even tap the deeplurker once, by then deeplurker will have done 12 damage and kill him this battle is a lock.
Round 3
Confirmed, Oshannus will be dead by round 4, perfect match up.
Deeplurker is one of my favorite new chaos cards, fast and opportunity for water this is an amazing combination. There is nothing i would change about this match up as it went basically as i anticipated, even though there were not "glass cannons" it still played as i was expecting with magic getting toppled by the amazing Deeplurker.
