Battle challenge useing Lava Spider, i do like this card in certain situations, it is not my absolute go to but does have many, many filler uses.
This is the one i run right now since gold was cheap and easy to come by.
The Battle
This is a Back to Basics, No Magic, 46 Mana with Fire, Water, Earth and Dragon Available. Now Usually the back to basics ruleset is one that you pick magic for as it gives the huge advantage of ignoring armor and the enemy units can't have void. Since magic was not available I decided on a ranged front. Counter problem though i don't have any summoners in these rulesets that would give any kind of bonus ranged damage, so i figure what the heck lets YOLO and go with my Kretch since he is maxed for silver maybe that would at least give me an advantage.
The Team
Kretch Tallevor
Giving me the ability to play 5/4/3/2 common/rare/epic/legendary monsters.
Djinn Chwala
Nice attack and decently meaty with all the armor and HP
Lava Spider
I decided at this point he was going to be here as a second cheap meat shield that could do a little damage before he has to take it like a champ.
Pyromancer
Damage Dealer
Pyromaniac
Damage Dealer
Lava Launcher
Heavy damage with shield if for some reason he ends up at the front, since it's back to basics he would become a meat shield at that point. Plus with Kretch in play i can use this one at level 3 also.
Ettin Spearman
High damage ranged, just felt that I should throw the highest possible damage I could at this point.
At this point when i proceeded i was a little skeptical and was def leaning that this was a big YOLO, but when I saw the opposing team drop and they only had damage coming from the first and last positions I knew it was a lock as I had way outmatched them in damage; even with their summoner giving armor and speed boost I was confident in my choices and was right as it was an easy win.
As expected though by the end of the battle my poor Lava Spider was the secondary meat shield absorbing enough attacks to ensure my upper hand so he did his job and would not have changed any of my lineup.
