Odds of getting a booster pack
Chaos Legion packs have been included in loot chests just a week or so ago and I've already been granted one! This by itself is being lucky. Hodling already 100 packs since the beginning of the General Sale, I decided to see if I could be lucky back-to-back by opening this extra pack.
As a reminder, playing in Silver I, my odds of getting a booster pack was only 0.75%. this is certainly my best pull so far because, before that, the best I got in the last three months were a few Epics and 2 Common Gold Foil Reward Cards. You can check the table below to know your odds of getting a Chaos Legion pack depending on the league you're competing in.
Splinterlands, much more than just a game
This is only the second time I've been opening a pack, so it still felt new and exciting. Since last time, my wife and I took the habit of opening these packs together. So, I had waited until she woke up to share this little moment with her.
Lately, I have been spending a lot of time immersed in the Splinterlands ecosystem and this is simply my way of including her in a project I believe in.
Indeed, Splinterlands is much more than a simple cards game to me. It is an entire economic system on its own that can be rewarding in many ways as long as we are willing to invest in the time and earnings on a long enough time horizon.
The pull
Nothing exceptional out of this pull. Even though I got 2 Rare cards, the value of this pack ended up being $0.82. Again, I wasn't expecting much out of it besides having fun! On a side note, this was the second time I pulled Venari Scout in two packs.
Otherwise, those 5 cards are actually cards that I like to rely on quite often. Owning them now is a step forward towards buffing up my Collection Power (CP). In the end, having more cards no matter which ones is still beneficial for players like me who lack CP to maximize their earnings.
