DEATH VS DEEPLURKER - SPLINTERLANDS PT/EN

É muito engraçado quando iniciamos uma partida de Splinterlands e as regras de combate que surgem parecem ótimas, então você escolhe uma estratégia, monta o seu time e...

Se depara com uma situação quase perfeita para sua composição funcionar, exceto por uma única carta do oponente. Oi, meu nome é Anny e hoje quero falar sobre como um Deeplurker quase arruniou minha estratégia!

You are faced with an almost perfect situation for your composition to work, except for a single opponent card. Hi, my name is Anny and today I want to talk about how a Deeplurker almost ruined my strategy!

Ao me deparar com essa partida ficou fácil decidir qual estratégia eu utilizaria. Os três Splinters possuem ótimas opções de cartas com Sneak e como nessa regra todos os monstros obrigatoriamente serão de dano físico por causa da regra Up Close and Personal eu optei por counterar esse tipo de dano.

Para isso escolhi utilizar o Zintar Mortialis e combiná-lo com outras duas cartas que possuem a habilidade Demoralize para mitigar totalmente o dano dos inimigos.

Para a função de Tank primário eu optei pelo Cursed Windeku pois como ele não seria alvo de muitas cartas (no máximo 2 considerando a habilidade Reach ) seu Heal seria suficiente para recuperar toda sua vida e ele ainda causaria dano com o Thorns . Na última posição ficou o Harklaw pois seu Shield praticamente garante que essa carta não tome nenhum dano, e além disso ele é imune ao Poison que algumas cartas poderiam tentar causar graças à sua habilidade Immunity .

Para completar as cartas ofensivas escolhidas além de conseguir atacar com Sneak elas também possuem outra habilidade extra que aumentará sua eficiência no combate, Poison e Cripple .

When faced with this game it was easy to decide which strategy I would use. The three Splinters have great options for cards with Sneak and as in this rule all monsters must be physical damage because of the rule Up Close and Personal I opted to counter this type of damage.

For this I chose to use Zintar Mortialis and combine it with two other cards that have the ability Demoralize to completely mitigate the damage of enemies.

For the primary Tank role I opted for Cursed Windeku because as he wouldn't be the target of many cards (maximum 2 considering the Reach skill ) his Heal would be enough to recover all his health and he would still deal damage with Thorns . In the last position was Harklaw because its Shield practically guarantees that this card does not take any damage, and besides that it is immune to the Poison that some cards could try by Immunity ability.

To complete the chosen offensive cards in addition to being able to attack with Sneak they also have another extra ability that will increase their combat efficiency, Poison and Cripple .


Battle!

Ao ver o time inimigo, quase tudo saiu conforme o esperado. Suas duas cartas com Sneak ficarão inutilizadas a partida inteira sem conseguir causar dano enquanto suas duas cartas da linha de frente darão menos dano do que o Heal do Windeku consegue curar, permitindo que sozinho esta carta consiga eliminar os dois.

O Spineback Turtle é um problema leve pois apesar de causar dano com Thorns e eventualmente eliminar alguma das minhas cartas mais frágeis ele não será capaz de fazer muita coisa, entretanto... O Deeplurker é um verdadeiro problema pois apesar do seu dano estar bastante reduzido ele é capaz de focar nas cartas com menor vida por causa do Opportunity e também possui a habilidade Poison para acelerar a morte dos seus alvos.

When seeing the enemy team, almost everything turned out as expected. Your two cards with Sneak will be disabled for the entire game without being able to deal damage while your two frontline cards will deal less damage than Heal from Windeku manages to heal, allowing this card alone to eliminate both.

The Spineback Turtle is a mild issue as despite dealing damage with Thorns and eventually eliminating some of my weaker cards he won't be able to do much though... The Deeplurker is a real problem because despite his damage being greatly reduced he is able to focus on cards with lower health because of the Opportunity and also has the Poison ability to speed up the death of your targets.


O Deeplurker e o Spineback Turtle conseguiram eliminar dois Sneaks já na segunda rodada e depois disso sobrou apenas o Deeplurker tentando ao máximo eliminar minhas cartas enquanto seus quatro companheiros estavam presos em um loop sem obter nenhum sucesso.

Deeplurker and Spineback Turtle managed to eliminate two Sneaks already in the second round and after that there was only the Deeplurker trying his best to eliminate my cards while his four teammates were trapped in a loop with no success.


Admito que ele lutou bravamente. No início da 7ª rodada o seu Poison eliminou a quarta carta da minha equipe, restando apenas os dois tanks, porém já era impossível para o Deeplurker conseguir fazer alguma coisa pois ele não tinha dano e nem vida suficiente para lidar contra minhas duas cartas.

Apesar de ter feito tudo que podia, o fato do Cursed Windeku e o Harklaw terem conseguido cada um anular 2 cartas do oponente desbalanceou completamente a partida e garantiu a vitória para o meu time!

I admit he fought valiantly. At the beginning of the 7th round, your Poison eliminated my team's fourth card, leaving only the two tanks, but it was already impossible for Deeplurker able to do anything because he didn't have enough damage and life to deal against my two cards.

Despite having done everything they could, the fact that Cursed Windeku and Harklaw managed to nullify 2 of their opponent's cards each one completely unbalanced the match and guaranteed victory for my team!

Uma estratégia sólida e bem aplicada às regras de combate te garantem uma enorme vantagem em relação ao oponente, mas não devemos menosprezar habilidades tão boas como a Opportunity pois se uma carta dessas ficar muito tempo viva é possível que sozinha ela consiga destruir as cartas chaves para sua estratégia funcionar. Deeplurker é uma ótima carta para vermos o quão boa é essa habilidade, entretanto, a estratégia supera a força bruta (em alguns casos 🤣)

A solid strategy and well applied to the combat rules guarantee you a huge advantage over the opponent, but we shouldn't underestimate abilities as good as Opportunity because if one such a card stays alive for a long time, it is possible that alone she can destroy the key cards for her strategy to work. Deeplurker is a great card to see how good this ability is, however, strategy trumps brute force (in some cases 🤣)
