Probably not gonna win any popularity contest with this idea. BUT... As someone who's been helping out in discord general I'm seeing about a message every couple of hours where new players are confused by cooldown.
These are all from the last 6 hours and there were more...
SPS Proposal
Cards that are in cooldown can't be listed for rent or buy until after cooldown is over.
Oops We created a New Problem
All of the messages we see today will be replaced by, "Why can't I find my card to sell/rent?" We can't just take one problem and replace it by another. So what do we do?
Human Centered Design
IDEA 1) There needs to be an interface update to teach users what they are doing. This can come in the form of a modal pop up or a extra confirmation required to purchase/rent things on cooldown. The interface/game needs to inform users how/what is going on so that reaching out on discord isn't needed.
IDEA 2) Another way to improve would be to allow the card on cooldown to show in inventory with some kind of countdown overlay to indicate when the card will be available.

Agree with this proposal. Switching the rental system so that cards on cooldown can't be posted for rent is a good short-term fix. It is more frustrating to pay money for a card only to not be able to use it than it is to not be able to list a card. Paying money for a card on cooldown could easily cause some to never trust the rental system again. Ideally those trying to list cards for rent would get a clear UI indication that the card is on cooldown and that it cannot be listed for rent until it is off cooldown.

I thought this was the rule, I know I can't rent out my cards if they are on cooldown. But maybe there's a way and I never found it :)
@unitqm I'm not the best person to vote on this, I don't know how those types of details work. But I do support helping make the game better to understand and educating players for sure.
