This week's Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge challenge is an invite to dive deep into the official Splinterlands lore site and share our creative take on the stories that make up the Splinterlands Universe.
Till now in this type of challenge I have shared stories of different characters and places with you but for today's challenge I have chosen a different topic which is Elements.
You know all the elements of Splinterlands, but their existence in this universe is not due to the summoners and cards, but the existence of all summoners, cards, stats, abilities, etc. is due to these elements. Actually these are the elements on the basis of which this Splinterlands Universe is created. Meaning, before anything else, if there was anything in this universe, it was these elements. After which, life slowly started emerging in thousands of years and colonies of monsters started forming in different places.
Like some established their kingdom in different places on earth, some became kings of mountains, some made themselves powerful under-water, some came out of fire and some created their dominance in the sky. Apart from all these, in some species, some emerge as great magician known as summoners who have achieved mastery in a particular element and developed the art of summoning the monster associated with it. Because every element had its own specialty and the monsters associated with it were masters in different arts which had the power to change the course of any battle in certain situations.
So for example, since the Fire Element is concentrated in areas of exceptional heat and dryness, the monsters associated with the fire element used to gather at one place for a battle on the call of the summoner associated with it. And these battles were not always among the monsters of the same element but many times different elements fight with each other to increase their supremacy in the Splinterlands universe.
The Water Element is concentrated in springs, rivers, lakes and seas as well as rain. And the creatures associated with it are adept at living and dominating these areas. And on the call of the element related to Samar, they become ready for any battle.
The Life Element is also primarily woven into the fabric of time and space. But do not take its creatures lightly. Like other elements, the creators of the life element can also do both healing and destruction.
Creatures of the Death Element are concentrated in the lower darkness, negative and shadow realms. Like the Life Element, the Death Element is also woven into the fabric of time and space and is no less deadly.
Similarly, all the other elements are also full of special and unique qualities in themselves and their creatures dominate in their respective groups with different abilities. Although this Splinterlands universe is built on the basis of a balance among all these elements, there is no such thing as stability and peace in them, otherwise why would there be battles here every day, but these battles make this universe exciting for us. But here we can say that no one element can be inferior or superior forever because it depends on our strategies.
