After reading several of your posts I find your internal struggle to be very relatable and personable.
Splinterlands was my gateway drug to blockchains, and the more I start to accumulate the more cool stuff I find that is out there to collect. It’s easy to start feeling like all of it is so “must have”.
What I‘ve been gathering around here is that this is a long term game and there shouldn’t really be a rush to anything, which I can get behind and have fun with.
Looking forward to hearing more about what you decide or ponder with the land.
Thanks. Ironically, I saw the land price drop below $500 yesterday and swung into immediate action to move tokens around to eventually get Litecoin to swap for Hive. Sadly, of all times, the Cosmos Atom blockchain where my liquid funds were coming from was down for scheduled maintenance and I had no choice but to abort. At $490 - $525, there was no choice but to buy. It spiked back to normal right after, but has settled down. I still can't move my Atom yet, so it's unnerving to say the least.
As for SPL in general, I'm tempted to buy some of the older release cards while their prices are suppressed. If I was going to buy something at $50, and it's $17 now, why wouldn't I if the goal is fun anyway?
Appreciate the message and follow.
Yeah exactly, some of those look really good especially relative to last 3 mo. My problem is I started buying golds without realizing I can't use their abilities with level 1 summoners. Still learning lol. I see those summoner prices coming down and can't help but think they'll continue going lower with the airdrops, but what do I know.
