Greetings everyone, hope all of you had a good week thus far as we just crossed the midweek and hope that you are not drowned in the daily grind. The latest brawl which my guild PIZZA 2 participated in had ended approximately a couple of hours ago and it is time again to look at how our guild did for this brawl on all aspects such as a guild, individually how each of the brawl matches went for me and the thoughts and decisions made behind how I put up each of my lineup to face my opponent based on the rulesets.
Since the start of Rebellion introduction, I have now changed my Brawl Fray to Fray 4 for my guild which is the fray that uses only Chaos Legion, Riftwatchers and Rebellion Cards. This is very beneficial for me because now that I only play in modern for my daily ranked battles, competing brawl in this format will be just like playing a normal rank battle. By participating in this modern fray, I will be exposed to more rulesets to refine my playing in daily rank matches. I have gotten more cards from the last end of season, hopefully there are opportunities for me to use them. Let's get right on to the battles of the brawl.

| Selection: | Back to Basic and Equal Opportunity. When given such a ruleset combination, the key is to strike hard and fast. Ensuring that the strikes that you are will be fatal so that opponent will not be able to bite back at you and give you a huge counter if you are unable to kill your opponent off when you strike. And this is why Shock Trooper is an amazing card for this kind of ruleset. |
| Outcome: | Win! My double magic attackers had the additional speed given from my summoner ability was able strike earlier and clearing off opponent lineup with loads of ease as every strike yielded a kill. |

| Selection: | Stampede and Counterspell. Since it is counterspell, avoid any magic attackers in the lineup. And with that, I am also expecting melee and range cards and many of them do have some form of armour, hence I had Ferox Defender to up my armour while using a armour reducing summoner to ensure my shots can hit those other cards with better ease. I also included a martyr to boost my Grum Flameblade. Other cards planted all can hit hard and also thrive if opponent had no armour. |
| Outcome: | Win! This was a close and we went neck to neck all the way till the end. Opponent did field a very strong lineup but it was the last stand that saw me through the match. |

| Selection: | High Five, Going the distance and even stevens. For this combination, it is like a triple restriction kind of gameplay where I can almost see not much options left in my collection but thankfully there is my one of the newest Gladius recruits Tatiana Blayde whom will come in handy as she has close range and grows with every kill. I added 2 more support cards, a taunt and a heal to ensure Tatiana gets minimal damage each turn while she ramps up |
| Outcome: | Win! Interesting to see Drybone Raider here as it will only be able to use melee strike instead of the melee. On my end, it was a bit by bit growth that allow me to finally bulldoze through and get the win. |

| Selection: | Little League only. Now with this, the strategy that I will use will be double protect which involve Jini Guise and Queen Mycelia. Having this 2 cards work together will allow me to outlast any form melee /range bombardment. I addded Halfling Refugee as tank because of its high health and also prepared a Venari Spellsmith in case some crazy growth happened and I was to dispel it. |
| Outcome: | Win! Double protect ensure I didn't get strike by melee and enough for me to do some magic damage to clear off Queen Mycelia on my opponent end and clear off everything else subsequently. |
Guild Final Tally
I was assigned 5 matches for this brawl and won all 5 of them. 1 fleeing opponent and an additional 2 wins due to unfilled frays from opponent guild. For 2 brawls in row, I have obtained a clean sweep and I am so happy that I am able to achieve this. Winning already requires effort, having clean sweep will need even more.
While we did have many of us doing well, we did not sustain the position 3 that we had previous brawl. While our win count did increase, we do see other guilds getting even more especially when we did not have many frays filled which contributed to free wins on their end! Let's continue to better our gameplay and find players whom are in search of guilds to join us. Go PIZZA 2!
