Hello everyone, welcome to my newest segment, "BATTLE FROM THE PAST". This segment was created because when I want to make a post for another Challenge (Social media and Secret Battle Mage Challenge) I always save all the battles I win. So that when the theme is determined, I don't have to bother to do a lot of fighting again because I have saved some of them.

And since the unused battle links are piling up, I decided to create this segment to share those battles with you all. And for this time, the struggle that I will be sharing is...

I use Cursed Windeku to deal damage to the opponent's melee monsters when they attack him. And when it loses Health points, it can heal itself with the HEAL ability. In addition, Cursed Windeku has the SLOW ability to slow down the SPEED of all opposing monsters.

In addition to Cursed Windeku, I deployed Queen of Crows and Supply Runner to widen the speed difference between the two sides.

The opponent used Possibilus the Wise and made the Melee monster in the second position attack my TANK. He used Diemonshark in the first position and Coastal Nymph in the second position. The Coastal Nymph has a DOUBLE STRIKE ability that allows it to attack twice per round.

With the absence of ARMOR due to one of the rulesets, Melee and Ranged monsters that have a large ATTACK POWER should have an advantage because their attacks are not hindered by the presence of ARMOR.

Because of that, I decided to use Astral Entity to increase the possibility of my monsters avoiding the opponent's attacks because they will be given the DODGE ability. In addition, I also brought Ahna-Chei Botanist which has BLIND ability to reduce the accuracy of the opponent's monster attacks.

In the first round, Supply Runner, Soul Strangler, Cursed Windeku, and Queen of Crows instantly defeated Diemonshark without triggering its RETALIATE ability so that Cursed Windeku was not affected. The Coastal Sentry who took the place of the Diemonshark attacked the Cursed Windeku twice using the DOUBLE STRIKE ability. Cursed Windeku suffered considerable damage but he was still able to fight back by dealing damage to Coastal Sentry through the THORNS ability.

Kulu Mastermind, Uraeus, and Deeplurker were forced to direct their attacks at Night Ghoul due to the effect of the TAUNT ability, but the attack from Deeplurker failed to hit him. The damage dealt by Kulu Mastermind was dampened by the FORCEFIELD ability. Uraeus also deals poison effects to Night Ghoul.

In the second round, Coastal Sentry was defeated by attacks from Supply Runner and Soul Strangler. Kulu Mastermind who took his place took attacks from Queen of Crows and Cursed Windeku who had previously healed him. Kulu Mastermind countered Cursed Windeku's attack by giving him massive damage even though he was also hit by THORNS ability in the end. Deeplurker and Uraeus failed to land their attacks on Night Ghoul.

In the third round, Kulu Mastermind was only defeated when all my monsters (Supply Runner, Soul Strangler, Cursed Windeku, and Queen of Crows*) directed their attacks at him. Cursed Windeku had previously taken the time to heal himself.

Deeplurker who was currently in first place failed to land his attack on Cursed Windeku. Similarly, Uraeus failed to hurt Night Ghoul.

In the fourth round, Deeplurker lost to attacks from Supply Runner, Soul Strangler, and Cursed Windeku. First-placed Uraeus attacked Cursed Windeku but he was also hit by THORNS and took an attack from Queen of Crows.

In the last round, Uraeus was defeated by Supply Runner. Meanwhile, Chaos Agent was defeated by attacks from Soul Strangler and Cursed Windeku*.

Review

Because the opponent only focuses on picking monsters that have high ATTACK POWER, he forgets to increase their speed so they are late to attack and one of them (Diemonshark) is not given a chance to attack until he is defeated. Diemonshark also gets more attacks from Ranged monsters so he can't utilize his RETALIATE ability to counter their attacks.

FORCEFIELD ability owned by Night Ghoul is also useful to reduce some attacks from monsters that have large Attack power so that he can survive longer even though he is finally defeated by the effects of poison.

And with the combination of the BLIND from Ahna-Chei Botanist, the DODGE he received from Astral Entity, as well as some monsters that could manipulate speed, Night Ghoul took very little damage in this battle.
