Hello everyone, welcome to my newest segment, "BATTLE FROM THE PAST". This segment was created because when I want to make a post for another Challenge (Social media and Secret Battle Mage Challenge) I always save all the battles I win. So that when the theme is determined, I don't have to bother to do a lot of fighting again because I have saved some of them.

Since the unused battle links are piling up, I created this segment to share those battles with you all. For this time, the struggle that I will be sharing is...

The rulesets for this battle are BORN AGAIN and UNPROTECTED. BORN AGAIN is a ruleset that will provide an additional REBIRTH ability that will be useful for reviving the owner of this ability. REBIRTH ability can only be used once in each battle, so if you want to use a similar ability, you can use a unit that has the RESURRECT ability. RESURRECT is an ability that will revive one of the units in the team that was defeated first.

The second ruleset (UNPROTECTED) is a ruleset that removes all ARMOR owned by all units in the battle arena. The use of PROTECT to add ARMOR and REPAIR abilities to repair ARMOR is not useful in the UNPROTECTED ruleset.

This time I again utilized Daarg Deadblast to give Attack power to my No-Attack units as well as give additional SPEED to all units in my formation. The No-Attack units I used this time were Baakjira and Scavo Hireling. Although it has been explained that the REPAIR ability is useless in the UNPROTECTED ruleset, I still want to use Scavo Hireling because it also has the same SLOW ability as Baakjira to make the SPEED of the opponent lower so that all units in my team can attack first.

In the first round, Pelacor Bandit failed to land his attack on Chaos Agent. That caused him to take damage from Chaos Agent's BACKFIRE . Supply Runner attacked Baakjira. After taking the damage, Baakjira healed himself and then he and Scavo Hireling and Igor Darkspear defeated Venari Heatsmith for the first time.

Although he managed to revive due to REBIRTH ability, Venari Heatsmith was again defeated by Daarg Deadblast (previously Venari Marksrat had tried to attack him but missed). Radiated Brute attacked Baakjira. Meanwhile, Countess Sinash failed to land her attack on Pelacor Bandit.

In the second round, Pelacor Bandit was finally able to land his attacks on Chaos Agent. Meanwhile, Countess Sinash still couldn't hurt Pelacor Bandit. Scavo Hireling attacked Radiated Brute making him enter RAGE mode which made his Melee Attack power and SPEED increase by 1.5 times. In that state, Radiated Brute and Supply Runner almost defeated Baakjira who now only had 1 HP.

Baakjira rushed to heal himself and immediately defeated Radiated Brute with help from Igor Darkspear and Venari Marksrat. The Radiated Brute who revived using the REBIRTH ability was immediately defeated for the second time by Daarg Deadblast. The first place Halfling Refugee failed to attack because he was hit by Exhausted from his WEARY ability.

In the third round, Countess Sinash still failed to hurt Pelacor Bandit. Meanwhile, Pelacor Bandit managed to defeat Chaos Agent even though he was revived. Supply Runner attacked Baakjira.

Baakjira healed himself and then together with Igor Darkspear, Scavo Hireling, and Venari Marksrat defeated Halfling Refugee for the first time. Daarg Deadblast defeated Halfling Refugee for the second time.

In the fourth round, Pelacor Bandit defeated Chaos Agent for the second time. The Supply Runner, who didn't have a chance in the first place, was defeated by Scavo Hireling, Igor Darkspear, and Baakjira.

Venari Marksrat failed to defeat Supply Runner for the second time, but it was overcome by Daarg Deadblast who managed to defeat Supply Runner. Before Supply Runner was defeated a second time, Countess Sinash could finally. defeat Pelacor Bandit for the first time and deal additional damage to Igor Darkspear and Venari Marksrat.

In the final round, Countess Sinash was defeated twice in a row. The first defeat was by attacks from Pelacor Bandit and Scavo Hireling, while the second defeat came from Igor Darkspear's attacks.

Review

Bringing Venari Marksrat in this matchup was a bit of a waste because the opponent did not use SNEAK units. Even so, Venari Marksrat can be attacked by Countess Sinash who has the OPPORTUNITY ability because she has the lowest HP of the others. Unfortunately, because Pelacor Bandit failed to attack Chaos Agent and took damage from the BACKFIRE ability, he was the main target of Countess Sinash.

Luckily, Pelacor Bandit could still survive and dodge some of the attacks launched by Countess Sinash until the end of the battle. Although he was hit by an attack from Countess Sinash and lost, it was too late for the opponent who at that time only had 2 units left.

That's one of the battles that I shared in Battle from the Past this time. Hopefully, you will get a little idea about the strategy after seeing this battle. Thank you for visiting and reading this post until the end. See you in the next post.

Sort:

Baakjira + Daarg Deadblast is usually game over. It's hard to counter them,

You just need Doctor Blight (+ with some luck). Or using "Oppress" unit to give no-attack unit double damage.
