My strategy on Back to Basic ruleset

in Splinterlands3 years ago (edited)

When Back To Basic rule set is at play. I would always use Alric as my summoner if possible. I will put a monster or two at front mostly as a sacrifice; followed by magic users arranged by largest health to the smallest.

My idea is that magic user will always hit that opponents card even if they are heavy shielded. Maybe, the big exemption is when the opponent is using a summoner with void armor. Since the rule set is Back To Basic, reflect and void will be unavailable. Sneak skills will also be missing so weaker cards will be safe at the rear.

Since I placed magic user cards with largest health on front followed buy the magic card with the next largest health, and so on. (I hope you can understand what I mean.) The opponent will take more turns before defeating the card on the front. With this strategy, the weaker cards will have more turns to hit the opponent's card before the front card is eliminated.
