One month playing Splinterlands (review)

in Splinterlands3 years ago

Well, after one month of playing this game, there is a mix of feelings. Happiness, for finding such a fun and challenging game that pays me to play (in my old days of Atari I could never imagine that). Regret for not knowing this game before.

Splinterlands is not a robotic and boring game like most NFT games are now. You play and can't see the time pass. Is challenging. You have to study the game, the decks, the situations, all the variables that only a human can discover. Is not about just put a random card in a random place on the battlefield.

I fell in love with this game. On the second day, I bought a guild by myself. Achieved Diamond III in my first season. Today I have lots of friends, the guild is fun and rising. We are newbies, of course. A lot to learn. But looking at all possibilities and potential this game have, I am so bullish about it.

I wrote articles, created a youtube channel, and answered many doubts newer plays had. I never did that for any game in my entire life. I am helping and get helped by this wonderful Community.

I sent suggestions to improve the game, like differentiate rented cards and say how many days/hours are left for the rental finish.

I am asking here, on behalf of the thousand new players that arrived in the last few days, to the team study the possibility to sell more lands in the future. I wanna participate in all aspects of this game. Sure I can't go back in time, but I am so excited about the land system, but can't pay the price asked in the alternative market.

I had to admit that I got a bit sad about the price of the quest potion, so I hope a more fair price can be applied in a near future.

I can't wait for Chaos Legion. The first time I will open a card pack and wait for gold or legendary cards. It must be so exciting.

Congratulations to all the team, mainly the guys on Telegram (Brybro27, Shaidon, Grapthar, and others) for being patient and answering all my questions with thousand of members online. I great and hard work.
In my youth, I played any kind of game you can imagine. Now, a bit older, I don't have the same time reactions as before, so I decided to play more “calm” games like Chess and Splinterlands.

I hope to be here, after one year, writing a second article about my “one-year” experience. I learned a lot in 30 days, but I knew is a little drop of water in the Splinterlands ocean.

Sorry for my bad English.

Thanks.

It's always great to read about the adventures of new Splinterlandians. Sounds like you really hit the ground running. See you in the arena, but be gentle with me, I'm not as young as I once was.

I like your energy and enthusiasm and I also appreciate that you try to help newbies. There are so many aspects to this game and you have picked up a lot in only 30 days. I enjoyed reading about your experience. Keep sharing your voice. I sent you a small gift. Welcome to the Splinterlands community and happy battling.

Thanks for sharing your journey with the game so far!

This is impossible - it will kill the credibility of the project. The announced rules are always valid and unconditionally-this is the law!
