🩸⚔️ Blood Maker: From Sketch to Warrior of Chaos ⚔️🩸

🔥 The Birth of a Battlefield Legend

"The battlefield is no place for mercy."

In the depths of Splinterlands, where war never ends, a relentless force rises from the ashes. Blood Maker—marked by scars, fire, and an insatiable thirst for battle.

This artwork is inspired by the official Blood Maker card from Splinterlands. I created this piece from scratch using my own artistic style while keeping the character’s essence intact.

I took on the challenge of reimagining this fearsome warrior, crafting him from pencil strokes to full form. This post takes you through his evolution, from rough guidelines to his battle-hardened scowl.

🖌️ The Process – From Raw Sketch to War-Ready Fighter

Every great warrior starts as an idea—a vision shaped by shadow and steel.

Below, you can see the step-by-step progression of my artistic process, from rough guidelines to the final detailed sketch.

The Foundation

🩸 Laying the groundwork for a warrior’s face, ensuring the structure is fierce and battle-worn.

Step 1

Features and Fury**

💀 The scars of countless battles start to emerge—his eyes, sharp as daggers, tell of war and loss.

Step 2

Details of a War-Bringer

🔥 Braided horns, an untamed beard, and a menacing expression complete his warrior’s look.

Step 3

Final Sketch – The Blood Maker is Born

Every scar, every wrinkle, every line tells a story—one written in battle.

🔥 Blood Maker in Splinterlands – Card Details

🩸 In battle, Blood Maker is more than just a name—he’s a force of destruction.

đź’€ Stats & Abilities:

  • Mana Cost: 5
  • Attack Type: Ranged
  • Ability:
    • Scattershot – đź’Ą Magic and ranged attacks target a random enemy unit.

🩸 In-Game Strategy – How to Use Blood Maker
Positioning Matters – Place him behind a strong tank to ensure he can freely attack without being targeted.
Synergize with Yodin Zaku – Gain Piercing, Scattershot, and extra ranged damage, making him an unpredictable damage dealer.
Disrupt Opponents – Scattershot makes Blood Maker difficult to counter, striking random enemies and potentially disrupting support units.

💉 A warrior with Scattershot isn’t just an attacker—he’s a chaotic force of destruction.

📜 The Lore – The Fire That Burns Within

"With a shock of orange tangled hair, red skin, and a fiery temper to match, Blood Makers couldn't look any more like a bonfire out of control."

🔥 Some fight for power. Some for glory. Blood Maker fights because the battlefield is the only place that makes sense.

🩸 His rage is not a choice—it’s survival.

🖌️ The Power of Sketching – A Warrior in the Making

Blood Maker isn’t just a drawing. He’s a manifestation of rage, strength, and chaos.

Sketching brought his raw power to life.
Details like scars, deep-set eyes, and braids tell a deeper story.
Each line adds intensity—until the warrior is complete.

💀 This is why I love sketching—characters don’t just appear, they grow from the shadows..
