How are you all? I am fine by the grace of almighty. It has been 6 years since splinterlands started its journey and I am very happy to be a part of this journey.
-> It seems like just before yesterday I started to play #splinterlands. But time flows very fast and It's been 2 years since I joined the journey.
-> And of course, it was my best friend who introduced me to splinterlands and I was quite excited because I am a person who is very fond of games. So I bought the starter pack for 10$. At first, it was difficult for me to understand the battle rules, the power & abilities of the monsters, and selecting them for battle. By the time I learned everything I needed to fight against the opponent's team.
-> So every day on average I spent 2/3 hours of my time playing splinterlands. Mostly at night, after I finished all my work, I spent my leisure time playing this game. I use my laptop to play so at night when I am lying on my bed, I play this game.
-> So fellow beginners, here are some tips for you.
- First, try to get some proper knowledge about the monsters and summoners. How to use them, and what are their abilities and attack powers?
- Be sure you check the battle rule before you select the monsters for the battle. The battle rule is very important for a particular battle because it can remove some monsters or ban some abilities or add some extra abilities for that particular battle.
Players nowadays become big fans of magic power monsters. Almost 90% of them used the Earth Summoner OBSIDIAN and other magic power monsters like MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN, GOBLIN PSYCHIC, REGAL PERYTON, DJINN BILJKA and so on. Also, the combination of MOXIAN REBEL & ULUNDIN OVERSEER is now becoming a trend.
So why is everybody getting more interested in using these magic power monsters??🧐🙄
- There has been always a fear while battling against the magic attack monsters. There are 2 main reasons:
- Yes, you heard it right. Magic attack never miss the target. Even though your monster has high speed or whatever the abilities are like Flying & Dodge, that doesn’t matter because your monster can't escape the attack of the opponent team's Magic power monster.
- And this is another situation where the magic power monsters are scary. Even if your monster has a shield as a defense that won’t help you against the tricky magic power monsters. Those opposing team's monsters will damage your friendly monster's health at ease.
Now the question is how can we get rid of these tricky Magic power monsters??
Well, 2 abilities can help you to gain victory against these magic monsters. Those abilities are :
- Void & 2. Counter Spell.
But the problem is all monsters don't have the Void or Counter Spell ability. But the solution is, that you can use the LEGENDARY Earth Summoner IMMORTALIS as your summoner while battling against the magic power monsters.

A long time ago when the the Arena Games were popular, many battle mages started their own guild. IMMORTALIS wasn't exceptional. He was the leader of his guild and he was known as the greatest mage trainer of that time. His training regimen was brutal and demanding, and he required nothing less than absolute perfection from those he accepted into his ranks.
- So it becomes very easy to gain victory when such a trainer trains your monsters for the battle. IMMORTALIS provides two extra abilities to all his friendly monsters. 1. VOID & 2. SHATTER.

-> VOID ability can reduce the magic attack damage. Let me explain it to you. If the opponent monster attacks 1 magic power, your monster won't get any damage to health. Then again, if the opponent monster attacks 2 or 3 magic power, your monster will get 1 or 2 damage. So this ability gives you a clear chance to fight against the magic attack monsters.
