Good day, Splinterlands community. Today, I will share another interesting battle that highlights Mimic's ability with Olivia of the Brook. This battle perfectly aligns or synergies well with the rule set, using Olivia’s strength ability well. This time, I’ll be using my main account to incorporate Olivia of the Brook in most Modern format battles.

Olivia of the Brook is an epic Rebellion card from the Life Splinter, known for its unique hybrid attack style combining both melee and magic damage. Based on its lore, Olivia herself is a mage who wields magic-based attacks, while her companion, Cloudy the Leopard, delivers powerful melee strikes. This dual-attack makes Olivia a versatile unit capable of dealing damage in hybrid attack.

Olivia of the Brook comes with the abilities Mimic, Deflect, and Opportunity, making her a useful presence on the battlefield in most rule sets given. She starts with stats of 1 magic damage, 2 melee damage, 3 speed, 1 armor, and 6 health, providing a balanced mix of offense with opportunity and survivability. With her Mimic ability, she can adapt to copy random opponent units and enhance her effectiveness depending on the enemy lineup, while Deflect helps counter such as Blast attacks. Meanwhile, Opportunity allows her to target the lowest-health enemy, ensuring she contributes to quick eliminations and targets annoying support with low health in battle.

Olivia of the Brook becomes very useful and powerful in the Wands Out rule set, where only magic attackers are allowed. Despite being a magic attacker, with Olivia's Mimic ability allows her to copy all abilities from other units, making her incredibly versatile and adaptable.

I only have a level 4 of this card so it's not yet fully max but still packs a punch because of the unlocked Mimic ability.

The rule set given is Born Again, Wands Out, and Holy Protection. I choose Grandmaster Rathe as my summoner and deployed Time Meddler as the first position tank, djinn Renova acts as support & main damage, Iziar as taunt magic attackers to attack this unit which makes it a second tank, Olivia of the Brook the second main damage of my team, Adelaide Brightwing for support of my team, and Doctor Blight acts as debuffing opponent respectively in the line-up. My strategy was to focus on Boosting both Olivia of the Brook and Djinn Renova with the help of Iziar martyr's ability and with rule given Born Again and my Adelaide Brighwing, it alligns well to resurrect Iziar twice and twice it boosts to it's adjacent, which is Olivia of the Brook and Djinn Renova.

The opponent uses Eternal Tofu as summoner with Nalara Geinek, Iziar, Djinn Renova, Adelaide Brightwing, Meriput Mossmender, and Olivia of Brook respectively line-up. The opponent has overpowered cards deployed with Meriput Mossmender and Nalara Geinek, which are a tank and support type class. I believe the opponent's main goal is to feed up more abilities of Olivia of the Brook since it was put in last position, avoiding being attacked in early rounds and surviving most of the rounds. The opponent Eternal Tofu chooses Triage and Scavenger, giving it to Nalara Geinek.

As the battle progressed, both of us have fully utilized Olivia of the Brook’s Mimic ability, copying a total of 21 abilities, creating an intense and amazing match. Watching the abilities stack up with each passing round was truly fascinating, as it showcased the immense potential of this mechanic Mimic Ability...

I gained a significant advantage by strategically positioning Iziar next to Olivia, alongside Djinn Renova, strengthening my lineup considerably.

This setup not only boosts Olivia’s durability and offensive capabilities but also provides important support through buffs and healing, making my team an overwhelming damage & abilities in terms of stats...

It's clear that together Iziar and Olivia make a good team, especially when the rule set is on your side strategically using it as an advantage for my come-up strategy.
