Good day everyone and the Splinterlands community. Today's Blog highlight will be the Quora Towerheadstrategy in the low mana cap Wands Out rule set. This time, we're focusing on the formidable epic card, Qoura, and exploring effective strategies for utilizing this powerful character in high mana cap rule sets. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting, these tips will help you maximize Quora Towershead even in level 3 with unique abilities to dominate your battles in low mana cap rule sets.

Quora Towersheadis undoubtedly one of the most overpowered cards in the Modern League, standing out whether magic, melee, or dominating the opponent in endurance abilities. This unit is widely used to Dominate the opponent in magic only a rule set while having decent damage in both melee and magic attacks also with Bloodlust ability that can trigger once it defeats the opponent's target and will have to increase all stats per unit it defeats.

The abilities of Quora Towershead are overpowered and can be both tank and main damage because of their abilities. Bloodlust will increase all stats by 1 once it defeats its target, Healing which can heal itself per round, and Immunity which is immune to all debuffs and negative effects. For now, I only have a level 3 Quora but when it is max level it has additional Despel ability and stats increase.

Obsidian

It gives an additional 1 magic damage stat to all friendly units.

Since Earth is active on this rule set and has a 19-mana cap. It would be the best choice to pick the Earth element as this element has the most overpowered magic units and useful abilities. Obsidian is what I pick because of only 19 mana cap rule set, I would try to save mana for I plan to deploy Quora Towershead and Doctor Blight in this battle.

The rule set given is Are You Not Entertain?, Wands Out, and Ferocity.

My Simple Plan Line up

First position - Quora Towershead
  • Quora Towershead excels as a frontline tank in the first position due to its potent Healing and Immunity abilities, which make it highly resilient and able to absorb significant amounts of damage. In addition to its defensive role, Quora Towershead can also function as a primary damage dealer, thanks to its versatile hybrid attacks. Under the Wands Out rule set, it is capable of delivering both magic and melee strikes, and its Bloodlust ability has the potential to trigger and boost its power with each successful attack. This combination of traits allows Quora Towershead to not only withstand assaults but also effectively eliminate its opponents, making it a formidable presence on the battlefield.
Second position - Doctor Blight
  • Doctor Blight adds another layer of support with a mix of offensive and disruptive abilities. With the Poison ability, Doctor Blight's attacks have a 50% chance to apply poison, inflicting automatic damage at the beginning of each round after the poison takes effect. Beyond poison, Doctor Blight also brings other valuable abilities such as Affliction, which prevents healing; Camouflage, which keeps it from being targeted by attacks; Scavenger, which increases its health when an enemy dies, and Weaken, which reduces the health of all enemy units. These abilities make Doctor Blight a versatile and strategic support unit, enhancing my team's effectiveness and endurance in battle.

Selecting a useful ability in this battle with a good amount of damage will increase your chances of victory in this type of rule set.

Will my strategy line up work?

The opponent also picks Obsidian with its unit's massive magic damage attacks, all units' total damage per round would be 13 magic damage which is enough to defeat my Quora Towershead but is it enough to defeat my Quora?

Quora Towershead brings some key advantages that could turn the tide. Its healing ability allows it to restore 4 health points each round, providing a vital defense against sustained damage. Additionally, Quora Towershead's superior speed means it can act before the opponent’s Venari Spellsmith. This advantage is crucial as it allows Quora Towershead to potentially trigger its Bloodlust ability early. The Bloodlust effect becomes particularly powerful when targeting Venari Spellsmith, who has low health in the first position, thereby increasing Quora Towershead's offensive capabilities.
In this positioning cards setup, Quora Towershead stands out as the MVP of the battle, dominating with its Bloodlust ability and continually seeking to capitalize on its advantage. However, this strategy is not without its risks. If the opponent decides to reposition their Venari Spellsmith to a rear position or deploy stronger units, the dynamics of the battle could shift dramatically. Particularly, if Venari Spellsmith is moved to the back, its ability to Dispel could neutralize Quora Towershead’s Bloodlust, potentially leading to a loss.

What could we learn from this strategy?

From this battle analysis, we can glean several important battle experiences. First, the synergy between Quora Towershead’s healing and Bloodlust's abilities can be a game-changer when strategically utilized. Second, positioning and speed advantages are crucial in determining the timing and effectiveness of special skills. Finally, adaptability in response to the opponent's strategies—such as repositioning or introducing countermeasures—plays a vital role in ensuring any strategy's success.

Depending on the rules stipulated and the opponent's past battles, therefore be sure to research and evaluate the potential lineup you wish to utilize. Remember that to employ effective tactics, you must combine cards that have powers that are appropriate or beneficial for the given rule sets, place them in favorable positions, and get familiar with your opponent's lineup. Stronger opponent cards? you might still defeat and win it even with your basic lineup 🤗.

This is another simple strategy yet helpful for certain matches in the Earth line-up element, feel free to check my other blog that uses the Water element which I commonly use, and hope this could help you in the battle. 😊
