I woke up to find a note on my pillow stating that I had 24 hours to vacate the premises or else the government will vandalize my property and they will not take responsibility for any damages caused.
Months ago my landlord had visted all his tenants and told us that the federal government has written a letter to him to vacate the premises because they wanted to build a modern market.
He said they gave him some amount of money which he even gave some to his tenants as refund of payment so that they could make arrangements to search for another apartment some where else .
I jumped out of my bed to see if my sister had gone to work because i believed it was she who dropped the note on the pillow .
She probably met me sleeping and didn't want to disturb me. I dashed out of my apartment to ask my neighbour who told me that the landlord handed it to my sister this morning.
I rushed in to start packing all my valuable items I could lay my hands on. After that I immediately called a pick up van to come and they came after some hours . I was able to move down to my friend's apartment to settle down and get a better place.
