I was one of the first SPI "WHALES" from day one. My old friend @silverstackeruk and I had an arms race, I think we both kept buying the SPI tokens almost until ot was capped. We almost reached the 100,000 limit, I ended up with just under 15,000.
After STEEM was hijacked by Justin Sun, amd the community decided to "go it alone" amd create the HIVE, well then, things got interesting. The airdrop of Hive coin greatly boosted SPI. Along with a couple other fortuitous investments by the Team, and a bit of Bull Market thrown in for good measure, my 14k+ stake had some SERIOUS VALUE in only about one year. Then I got STUPID.
SPINVEST had grown very fast. SSUK kept touting the ability of any SPI hodler to cash out at 95% of full market value, and I proved it was possible 🤣👀🙄 It was a perfect stress test on the SPI system, and the Team came thru with flying colors. I bought 3ozT GOLD with my gains, and was happy when it moved up immediately after purchase! It has also recently reached an ATH (all time high) yet again. But guess what?
Had I waited until the ATH for SPI about 4 months ago, I could have more than DOUBLED my Gold buying. If memory serves, it would have been 7ozT instead of THREE. Big Difference!!
LONG STORY SHORT, I DECIDED TO GET BACK INTO SPI...
I've sold off my Leo shares, and some LBI (Leo backed investments) and still have seen LBI on the sell orders.

SPI is still killing it, SSUK's active management, along with @jk7267 are generating some solid returns every week! These 2 gentlemen, along with other awesome SPI OGs like @shanibeer and @taskmaster4450 have the tokens earnings SET ON KILL, and even now, it's worth a lot more than when I cashed out. I'm back, I have 206.69 SPI and buying MOAR every time I get a payout. Or sale of LBI. They say in movies, the sequel is never as good as the original and it's true with LBI.
SPI is doing things with LEO that LBI should be doing. 🤷♂️
