Mi hijo, fue promovido hacia el séptimo grado, ha terminado la educación básica y esto para nosotros representa una meta más en su formación académica.

A few days ago, I was able to experience a great satisfaction and I thought it was only fair to share it with you, because after all, we are in a social network. My son was promoted to the seventh grade, he has finished basic education and for us this represents one more goal in his academic formation.
La educación es la respuesta a todas las necesidades de la humanidad. Cuando vamos formando a nuestros niños, estamos forjando el futuro, sembrando semillas de esperanza y esperando que lleven nuestro legado en el tiempo. Culminar las primeras etapas es elemental para llegar a ser adultos responsables, íntegros y capaces.
Education is the answer to all the needs of humanity. When we educate our children, we are forging the future, sowing seeds of hope and hoping that they will carry our legacy in time. Completing the first stages is elemental to becoming responsible, upright and capable adults.
La evaluación final se trató sobre su proyecto de vida, y fue muy emotivo pues nos permitió pensar en el futuro que él estima alcanzar. Además, desde sus manitos emergieron sus fortalezas, debilidades, amenazas y oportunidades, algo que a veces ni siquiera como adultos nos atrevemos a pensar.
The final evaluation was about his life project, and it was very emotional because it allowed us to think about the future he hopes to achieve. In addition, from his little hands emerged his strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities, something that sometimes even as adults we do not dare to think about.
Omar estudia en una escuela donde la gran mayoría de sus compañeros son neurotipicos, y eso hizo que se permitiera compartir con niños que debían entender su condición, y en realidad, a pesar de ciertos eventos que fueron solventados, fue una buena experiencia. El acto fue sencillo pero emotivo, y al momento de recibir su diploma, fue uno de los niños más aplaudidos ¡Bravo hijo!
Omar studies in a school where the vast majority of his classmates are neurotypical, and this allowed him to share with children who should understand his condition, and actually, despite certain events that were solved, it was a good experience. The ceremony was simple but emotional, and at the moment of receiving his diploma, he was one of the most applauded children, Bravo son!
Luego de entregar todos los diplomas, discursos emotivos de los directivos, daban buenos consejos a nuestros niños, quienes tienen ahora una buena misión que cumplir. Padres orgullosos, niños contentos y una música emotiva fue parte de la experiencia, más entre todas escuchar la canción Venezuela desde una flauta, logró sacar lagrimas a más de uno ¡Seguimos creyendo en este país!
After handing out all the diplomas, emotional speeches from the directors gave good advice to our children, who now have a good mission to accomplish. Proud parents, happy children and emotional music was part of the experience, but among all, listening to the song Venezuela from a flute, brought tears to the eyes of more than one. We still believe in this country!
Luego del acto, los niños se reunieron para una rica piscinada y los padres tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir y conocernos. Ya al final de la noche, agotada, pienso en esta nueva meta, con adolescente que comienza a mostrar los primeros vestigios de su rebeldía ¡Pido a la vida sabiduría y paciencia! Pues, aunque no nos enseñan a ser padres, vamos por el camino tratando de hacer lo que creemos adecuado.
After the event, the children gathered for a nice pool party and the parents had the opportunity to share and get to know each other. At the end of the night, exhausted, I think of this new goal, with a teenager who is beginning to show the first traces of his rebellion. For, although we are not taught to be parents, we go along the way trying to do what we think is right.
No es un acto más, son logros que hemos alcanzado a pesar de las circunstancias, y esto nos hace sentir emocionados y con esperanza, en lo personal, de que dejaré a mi hijo con cierta formación para cuando el viaje se haga presente… ¡Gracias por leer!
It is not just another act, they are achievements that we have reached despite the circumstances, and this makes us feel excited and hopeful, personally, that I will leave my son with some training for when the journey comes... Thank you for reading!
