Today I wanted to tell you a little bit about what kept me busy during the week.
As you know, If you saw my first post, I am studying image and sound design and this week I was progressing with some practical work from the editing and the sound mixing of the documentary.

Hoy quería contarles un poquito de lo que me mantuvo ocupado en la semana. Como ya saben, Si vieron mi primer post, Estoy estudiando diseño en imagen y sonido y esta semana estuve avanzando con algunos trabajos prácticos desde el montaje y la mezcla sonora del documental.

The art of the carpenter/El arte del carpintero

This work keeps me worried, since depending on the success I have in class, it defines whether I am still in the subject or I am left out.😲😵
It is a 2 minute short film, it shows a carpenter's passion for wood and his creativity. In itself, the objective of this short film is to generate a climax through composition and the use of movement.

Este trabajo me mantiene preocupado, ya que dependiendo del éxito que tenga en clase, define si sigo en la materia o quedó fuera. Se trata de un pequeño cortometraje de 2 minutos, muestra la pasión de un carpintero por la madera y su creatividad. En sí, el objetivo de este cortometraje es generar un clímax a través de la composición y la utilización del movimiento.

Some camera movements that were used are:

• Panning
• Tilt
• Pan focus

On the other hand, with regard to lighting, we used hard light from the sun reflected in mirrors, since the angle of the sun was opposite to the openings of the workshop.

Por otro lado con lo que respecta a la iluminación utilizamos luz dura del sol reflejada en espejos, ya que el ángulo del sol era opuesta a las aperturas del taller.

Here you can see the sound interface I was working on, it's a mockup.
Aquí pueden ver la interfaz de sonido en la que estuve trabajando, es una maqueta.

This time I worked disorganized, since it was a small sample and I had to do it in a short time. I am in charge of the sound direction of the documentary and for now we are working on the stage prior to the official filming.

En esta ocasión trabajé desorganizado, ya que se trataba de una pequeña muestra y tenía que hacerlo en un corto plazo. En si yo estoy encargado de la dirección de sonido del documental y por ahora estamos trabajando en la etapa previa al rodaje oficial.
