Una Navidad atropellada pero llena de tradiciones || A busy Christmas but full of traditions

Hola hola hola! Regresando por aca desde un buen tiempo, looo siiento tratare de estar mas a menudo por acá, como me les vaaaaa!! Todo biiien? Que tal les va en estas navidades!!? Espero que esten pasando unas epocas decembrinas armoniosas y en union familiar, las mias van como de costumbre bien, algo complicadas marcado por el panorama mundial y por el nacional. A pesar de todo esto mi familia y seres queridos hemos tratado de mantener las tradiciones casi intactas y gracias a Dios 🙏 lo hemos conseguido!!

Una de las cosas que mas me gusta de las navidades son las tradiciones, y ojo con esto, no me refiero unicamente a las tradiciones que como pais cada uno tiene, sino tambien a las familiares, esas tradiciones que con el tiempo se van creando y que de alguna manera le da sentido a las dinamicas familiares de cada persona, hoy les quiero compartir las tradiciones mas bonitas desde mi punto de vista y las que comparto con mi familia 💕

One of the things that I like the most about Christmas is the traditions, and be careful with this, I do not mean only the traditions that each country has, but also the family ones, those traditions that over time are created and that somehow gives meaning to the family dynamics of each person, today I want to share with you the most beautiful traditions from my point of view and those that I share with my family 💕

Colocar el árbol de navidad

La primera tradición que se hace en mi casa es la de colocar el árbol navideño, se coloca siempre los ultimos dias de noviembre o la primera semana de diciembre, y es una tradición que este año realice con mi novio, como una familia qie se esta consolidando y que esta empezando desde a poco. Colocamos algo de musica y tomamamos alguito mientras decorabamos y arreglabamos de navidad nuestro hogar, fue una tarde diferente y muy bonita en la que ambos nos dejamos llevar por el espiritu navideño.

Place the Christmas tree

The first tradition that is made in my house is to place the Christmas tree, it is always placed on the last days of November or the first week of December, and it is a tradition that this year I carry out with my boyfriend, as a family that is consolidating and that is starting small. We put on some music and had a drink while we decorated and arranged our home for Christmas, it was a different and very beautiful afternoon in which we both let ourselves be carried away by the Christmas spirit.

Y, aunque ya estoy formando mi familia como debe de ser, aun participo en la decoración navideña de mi mama y mi papa por lo que tambien fui y ayude a realizar la tradición del arbol de navidad.

And, although I am already forming my family as it should be, I still participate in the Christmas decoration of my mother and my father, so I also went and helped to carry out the tradition of the Christmas tree.

Recibir el espiritu de la navidad

Para el 21 de diciembre nosotros nos preparamos para recibir al espiritu de la navidad, esta es una tradición principalmente nórdica que habla de una hombre viejo y bonachon que pasa por las casas llevando alegria, prosperidad, felicidad y unión, al espiritu se le recibe limpiando el hogar, colocando mandarinas para atraer la prosperidad, y se le coloca insienso y velas para iluminar los valores que el espiritu nos viene a dejar.

For December 21 we prepare to receive the spirit of Christmas, this is a mainly Nordic tradition that speaks of an old and good-natured man who passes by the houses carrying joy, prosperity, happiness and union, the spirit is received cleaning the home, placing tangerines to attract prosperity, and incense and candles are placed to illuminate the values that the spirit comes to leave us.

Hacer las hallacas

Justo el dia despues del espiritu de la navidad realizamos las famosas hallacas ! Riquisimas! Super trabajosas, pero super divertido hacerlas entre todos, y conocer los sabores y tradiciones de la comida venezolana, yo tengo el recuerdo de ver a mi mama ayudando a mi abuela, y bueno ahora que mi abuela no esta fisicamente yo ayudo a mi mama a hacerlas.

Make the Hallas

Just the day after the spirit of Christmas we made the famous Hallacas! Delicious! Super laborious, but super fun doing them together, and getting to know the flavors and traditions of Venezuelan food, I have the memory of seeing my mother helping my grandmother, and well now that my grandmother is not physically here I help my mother to do them.

Cena Navideña

Finalmente todo lo que se hace se hace con mirada en el festin que realizamos para el 24 esperar la llegada del niño jesus, acá nos alistamos, vestimos de forma elegante para poder tener nuestra cena en familia, durante el día se prepara todo para conseguir el plato navideño, nks reunimos unas horas antes para compartir, bailar, hablar entre otras cosas, y justo a las 12 am hora en la que nace el niño nos sentamos a la mesa para compartir y cenar en familia.

Christmas dinner

Finally, everything that is done is done with a view to the feast that we hold for the 24th, waiting for the arrival of the child Jesus, here we get ready, we dress elegantly to be able to have our family dinner, during the day everything is prepared to get the Christmas dish, nks we meet a few hours before to share, dance, talk among other things, and just at 12 am when the child is born we sit at the table to share and have dinner as a family.

Esto es basicamente lo que hacemos y preparamos para la llegada del niño, y este es el punto que me gusta de las epocas decembrinas, mas allá de la comelona que hacemos todos los años es el compartir que tenemos con nuestra familia y la union con amigos lo que mas me gusta, espero realmente que todos allán disfrutado de una extraordinaria navidad al lado de sus seres queridos.
