¡Saludos a todos mis amigos de Hive! Hoy quiero compartirles un breve relato que viví, el cual me lleva a reflexionar acerca de la sociedad actual y sus valores morales. Esperando que ustedes también puedan debatir acerca del tema.
Hace poco estaba haciendo pasantías en la ciudad de Maracay, y uno de esos días llegué muy temprano al terminal de la ciudad; como tenía algo de tiempo, decidí caminar hasta mi lugar de trabajo (unos 20 minutos). Mientras caminaba, observé que un señor mayor dio una vuelta prohibida en una intercepción, sin colocar la luz de cruce y sin mirar que detrás venía un motorizado.
Inmediatamente el hombre en la moto le dice al señor: “¡Viejo, para la próxima debes colocar la luz de cruce!”; y se alejó en su vehículo…
Normalmente tenemos un pensamiento negativo hacia los motorizados, pero esa situación me hizo pensar: “¿Tal vez estamos equivocados con ellos? ¿Nuestra sociedad está avanzando en valores?” Pues su actitud fue correcta frente al señor. De esa manera, creí que nuestra sociedad está en crecimiento sobre la moralidad que debe tener.
No obstante, después sucedió algo diferente que me hizo cambiar de pensamiento.
Yo estaba a la orilla de la calle, esperando que el semáforo cambiara de verde a rojo, para poder cruzar al otro lado. Cuando eso sucedió, comencé a caminar por el rayado peatonal; pero una patrulla policial no se detuvo ante el semáforo, sino que siguió el camino.
Me vi forzado a detenerme y le dije al chofer: “El semáforo está en rojo”, y mientras se alejaba la patrulla, un oficial alcanzó a decirme desde dentro del vehículo: “¡¿Y eso qué te importa?!”…
Ese momento me decepcionó, y pensé que sigo equivocado: ¿Todavía faltará mucho para avanzar como buena sociedad? Pues, si los policías, que son la autoridad, cometen este tipo de infracciones, ¿qué harán los demás?
Por supuesto, no todos los policías son así; así como tampoco todos los motorizados son así. Hay buenos y hay malos. Pero al final de todo, ¿tú qué opinas sobre ello? ¿Estamos avanzando?

Greetings to all my Hive friends! Today I want to share with you a brief story that I lived, which led me to reflect on today's society and its moral values. Hoping that you too can discuss the issue.
Recently I was doing internships in the city of Maracay, and one of those days I arrived at the city terminal very early; Since I had some time, I decided to walk to my workplace (about 20 minutes). While I was walking, I observed that an older man took a prohibited turn in an intersection, without placing the low beam and without looking that a motorized vehicle was coming from behind.
Immediately the man on the motorcycle tells the older man: “Man, for the next time you must put on the low beam!”; and drove away in his vehicle...
Normally we have a negative thought towards motorists, but that situation made me think: “Maybe we are wrong about them? Is our society advancing in values?" Well, his attitude was correct in front of the older man. In that way, I believed that our society is growing on the morality that it should have.
However, something different happened afterwards that made me change my mind.
I was at the edge of the street, waiting for the traffic light to change from green to red, so I could cross to the other side. When that happened, I started walking down the crosswalk; but a police patrol did not stop at the traffic light, but continued on the road.
I was forced to stop and told the driver: “The traffic light is red”, and as the patrol drove away, an officer managed to say to me from inside the vehicle: “And what does it matter to you?!”…
That moment disappointed me, and I thought I'm still wrong: Is there still a long way to go to advance as a good society? Well, if the police, who are the authority, commit these infractions, what will the others do?
Of course, not all police officers are like that; just as not all motorized cars are like that. There are good and there are bad. But at the end of it all, what do you think about it? We're moving forward?

Primero que nada me parece buen relato. Dicho esto debo darte mi criterio: en todos los aspectos de la vida hay personas que actúan mejor o peor y para mí está esencialmente en el nivel de educación recibido y en los valores formados, en los que el hogar y la familia juegan un papel importante. Cuando estos factores se conjugan con la instrucción educativa de la escuela y la influencia de la comunidad los resultados serán positivos o negativos según sea lo acertado que estén estos factores en el ser humano. Por lo tanto; si la influencia de la escuela, la familia y la comunidad son positiva el comportamiento casi siempre es positivo; caso contrario es negativo. Es lo que pienso. Salud y saludos.

Tienes toda la razón, nuestros comportamientos dependen de varios aspectos; y más aún, de nuestras decisiones. Pues, podemos estar inmersos en un ambiente negativo, pero nosotros decidimos hacer lo bueno, y viceversa. Aunque ciertamente eso es algo complejo que da para hablar bastante.
