La experiencia me ha ayudado a comprender la importancia de la evitación y de lo que supone en mi vida diaria. Como en muchos aspectos de la vida, el simple hecho de percatarse, de darse cuenta es un proceso que impulsa al cambio, a tomar conciencia de nuestro hacer diario.
Experience has helped me to understand the importance of avoidance and what it means in my daily life. As in many aspects of life, the simple fact of noticing, of realizing is a process that drives us to change, to become aware of our daily actions.
Han sido reiteradas veces a lo largo de la vida que me he preguntado ¿Qué hago aquí? Con estas personas, en este trabajo, diciendo algo que no pienso, haciendo algo que no quiero... La queja o colocar la culpa fuera, colaboran en mantener la misma actitud a volver una y otra vez a encontrarme en situaciones similares; cambiará el espacio, la persona, el contexto... pero finalizo en el mismo lugar donde me pregunto ¿Qué vuelvo a hacer aquí?
There have been many times throughout my life that I have asked myself, "What am I doing here? With these people, in this job, saying something I don't mean, doing something I don't want to do? The complaint or placing the blame outside, collaborate in maintaining the same attitude to return again and again to find myself in similar situations; the space will change, the person, the context... but I end up in the same place where I ask myself: What am I doing here again?
The answer is the development of attitudes that avoided direct contact with the emotion or feeling. Crying could serve me in childhood to get candy, now that I recognize the functioning of the system of society, I have learned to get it for myself. In the present, what is learned is developed as a 'successful result' of a past experience, becoming aware helps to obtain information to be able to discern 'what is useful for me at this moment' or to be able to relearn in another way. UPDATE attitudes or behaviors to the present moment, if the results we get are not what we really want.
