One of the things that caught my attention, as soon as I set foot in Colombia was cycling, there is no person who on weekends or weekdays go out to make a route on two wheels, either for the first time or something routine to stretch the body and get out of that stress zone.
Passion that unites many people of different generations, thanks to what Colombia has many beautiful sites, which is a goal to achieve, as they promote exercise at a very high level in order to perform long or short routes, it's amazing how after work meet at a certain place and ready to start the adventure in such an incredible way spend a unique moment and accompanied among friends.
Colombian cycling has had such famous heroes as Nairo Quintana, a real character, who would have thought that maybe through these streets, the country saw him born and little by little he was making his story and as he always emphasized promoting exercise for the body.
I could dare to say that cycling is a religion, a very nice culture that encourages you to go beyond your capabilities, curiously most cyclists after completing the route sit at certain meeting points such as cafes or small establishments where they can hydrate and finish with a colorful conversation about the goal achieved (the goal).
