En esta oportunidad hablare de la escritura, ya que es una de las mejores formas enriquecedora y estimulante que tenemos para expresarnos.
In this opportunity I will talk about writing, since it is one of the best enriching and stimulating ways we have to express ourselves.
Son muchas las formas en la que podemos escribir lo que pensamos, ya sea en la letra de una canción, una novela, una poesía y por qué no en sus diarios personales para quienes lo tienen. Creo que la escritura tiene muchos beneficios positivos porque nos ayuda a ordenar ideas, minimizar el estrés y sirve para desahogarnos. Escribir nos conecta con nuestro interior y nos permite procesar las emociones. Esto nos obliga a pensar, a sentir y a reflexionar. Nos hace enfrentar nuestros miedos a la hora que escribimos, asimilamos y damos significado a lo que vivimos.
There are many ways in which we can write what we think, whether in the lyrics of a song, a novel, a poem and why not in their personal journals for those who have it. I believe that writing has many positive benefits because it helps us to organize ideas, minimize stress and serves as a way to let off steam. Writing connects us with our inner selves and allows us to process emotions. It forces us to think, feel and reflect. It makes us face our fears as we write, assimilate and give meaning to what we experience.
Según plantea el autor (Cassany 1995) escribir significa mucho más que conocer el abecedario, saber " juntar letras". Quiere decir ser capaz de expresar información de forma coherente y correcta para que la entiendan otras personas, significa poder elaborar cartas y cualquier otro tipo de documento que nos permita sobrevivir. Un ejemplo seria el escritor de novela allí eres libre de plasmar sin culpas, tu rabia, tu rencor, tu frustración... Solo cuando quedas vacío de dolor puedes lograr llenarte de ganas de vivir y eso es lo que hace la escritura.
According to the author (Cassany 1995) writing means much more than knowing the alphabet, knowing how to "put letters together". It means being able to express information in a coherent and correct way so that other people understand it, it means being able to write letters and any other type of document that allows us to survive. An example would be the writer of a novel where you are free to express without guilt, your anger, your resentment, your frustration? Only when you are empty of pain can you fill yourself with the desire to live and that is what writing does.
En ese sentido, para quienes se dedican a la escritura o piensan en iniciar por escribir, creo que lo primero, que debes de tener en mente es una idea básica, es decir, saber que será, ya sea partiendo de una imagen, un sueño, una noticia o quizás una conversación. De allí surgirá esa chispa que hay en tu interior y que empieza a salir lentamente.
In that sense, for those who are dedicated to writing or are thinking of starting to write, I think the first thing you should have in mind is a basic idea, that is, to know what it will be, whether it is based on an image, a dream, a news item or perhaps a conversation. From there, that spark that is inside you will emerge and slowly start to come out.
Una vez con la idea, piensa en ella, visualiza escenas, todo esto puedes ir plasmándolo en un cuaderno. Particularmente, cuando tengo la idea ya centrada, busco un lugar para escribir. Un sitio donde este relajado y un horario al que mejor me adapte. Generalmente, para quienes escriben no les basta tener una idea básica, tal vez tengas que preguntarte como solucionarlo, es sencillo, Solo debes hacerle preguntas a la idea tales como:
¿De qué manera empezaré la historia?
¿Cuál es el nudo de la historia?
¿Cómo resolverlo?
¿Hacia dónde llevo la historia?
Once you have the idea, think about it, visualize scenes, all this can be captured in a notebook. Particularly, when I have the idea already focused, I look for a place to write. A place where I am relaxed and a schedule that best suits me. Generally, for those who write it is not enough to have a basic idea, you may have to ask yourself how to solve it, it is simple, you just have to ask questions to the idea such as:
How will I start the story?
What is the crux of the story?
How do I solve it?
Where do I take the story?
Cuantas más preguntas le hagas a la idea principal, menos bloqueos podemos encontrar en el proceso de escritura y la historia fluirá.
The more questions you ask the main idea, the less blockages we can find in the writing process and the more the story will flow.
Para aquellos que se dedican a practicar la escritura es favorable encontrar un buen comienzo a la historia. Es por ello que no se debe olvidar cualquier idea que tengas en mente, elabora varios párrafos y descarta aquel que no llame tu atención. Intenta que lo que escribas sea atrayente para todo lector, no es fácil, por eso es importante quedarse con un solo comienzo.
For those who are engaged in writing practice, it is favorable to find a good beginning to the story. That is why you should not forget any idea you have in mind, elaborate several paragraphs and discard the one that does not catch your attention. Try to make what you write appealing to every reader, it is not easy, that's why it is important to keep only one beginning.
Por otra parte, escribir te ayuda a tener un bienestar emocional equilibrado, es de suma importancia mencionar que la escritura mejora tu memoria y lo recordaras todo con más claridad, no solo puedes anotar en el cuaderno, si no lo tienes a la mano puedes utilizar el teléfono para escribir citas que te inspiren para tener una buena día.
On the other hand, writing helps you to have a balanced emotional well-being, it is of utmost importance to mention that writing improves your memory and you will remember everything more clearly, you can not only write in the notebook, if you do not have it at hand you can use the phone to write quotes that inspire you to have a good day.
Además, si logras cultivar el hábito a la escritura, te darás cuenta como tu mente empieza a fluir mucho más fácil, sentirás mucha más motivación para desarrollar la escritura de otra manera. Con el pasar del tiempo te podrás dar cuenta que resulta satisfactorio volver a leer lo que escribiste, eso te permitirá saber si has evolucionado. La escritura es un arte puramente verbal, lo asumimos como algo especial por su capacidad de vocalizar pensamientos complejos.
Also, if you manage to cultivate the habit of writing, you will notice how your mind starts to flow much easier, you will feel much more motivated to develop your writing in another way. As time goes by, you will realize that it is satisfying to go back and read what you have written, that will let you know if you have evolved. Writing is a purely verbal art, we assume it as something special because of its ability to vocalize complex thoughts.
Para finalizar, es importante resaltar que la escritura es un proceso complementario de la lectura, los dos se necesitan continuamente. Es más competente un escritor que tenga un hábito hacia la lectura frecuentemente, aunque para cada uno se necesite diferentes estrategias.
Finally, it is important to emphasize that writing is a complementary process to reading, both are needed continuously. A writer who has a habit of reading frequently is more competent, although for each one different strategies are needed.
Escribir contribuye a un complejo proceso comunicativo; y una reflexión sobre la información para que sea entendible, una organización de ideas, un procedimiento de cohesión, de ortografía y de puntuación. Su valor se encuentra en representar las palabras o las ideas trazadas en un papel u otra superficie. Una de las razones por la que es importante es porque es una herramienta de comunicación, compartimos información explicando, contando y opinando.
Writing contributes to a complex communicative process; and a reflection on the information to make it understandable, an organization of ideas, a procedure of cohesion, spelling and punctuation. Its value lies in representing words or ideas plotted on paper or other surface. One of the reasons why it is important is because it is a communication tool, we share information by explaining, telling and giving opinions.
