Luego de unos meses decidí tomar un nuevo rumbo y buscar una nueva experiencia laboral en este caso se trata del hospital Dr. Pastor Oropeza, es un centro de salud perteneciente al instituto Venezolano de los seguros sociales (IVSS) cuenta con diferentes servicios y especialidades entre los principales tenemos emergencia de adulto y emergencia pediátrica, medicina general, cuidados intensivos, pediatría, sala de parto, cirugia general, ginecología y obstetricia, y el servicio donde me encuentro que es medicina interna.
El servicio de medicina interna a su vez se divide en hospitalizacion y en cuidados intermedios, en el servicio de hospitalizacion encontramos pacientes con diferentes patologias, por ejemplo diabetes pacientes con complicaciones asociadas a la misma como lo es nefropatía y retinopatía del diabético, enfermedad cerebrovascular, leucemia linfoide, derrame pleural, son pacientes que requieren de constante vigilancia y cuidados de enfermeria ya que en su mayoria pueden descompensarse muy rapido, por lo que se debe actuar con la mayor rapidez posible.
El turno son de seis horas es decir de siete de la mañana hasta la una de la tarde, al comenzar el turno se debe realizar el pedido de farmacia posterior a esto se realiza el control de glicemia a todo paciente que tenga indicada insulina pre desayuno y pre almuerzo, tambien se realizan extracción de muestras de sangre, la hora de administrar los medicamentos es de 9 a 10 am, otras de las acciones importantes es valorar si hay presencia de infeccion del cateter central, las curas de esta debemos realizarla cada día.
Los pacientes oncologicos requieren de mucha vigilancia ya que las quimioterapias a algunos de ellos les ocasiona fuertes reacciones por lo que se debe actuar rapidamente para revertir las reacciones adversas.
Luego de administrar medicamentos debemos realizar la evolucion de enfermeria y sacar las nuevas actualizaciones de la hoja de tratamiento, el trabajo es muy organizado y las demas colegas muy atentas y colaboradoras, es una nueva experiencia que debo aprovechar todos los dias ademas de aprender nuevas cosas puedo aplicar mis conocimientos adquiridos y siempre aplicando el deber ser.

Cancer patients require a lot of vigilance since chemotherapy causes strong reactions to some of them, so it is necessary to act quickly to reverse adverse reactions.
After administering medications we must carry out the nursing evolution and get the new updates of the treatment sheet, the work is very organized and the other colleagues are very attentive and cooperative, it is a new experience that I must take advantage of every day in addition to learning new things I can apply my acquired knowledge and always applying the duty to be.
