Useful info - thank you ! Just by way of comparison, I make the daily paid out to proposals (excluding the stabiliser) 11008 HBD per day. I'm not sure offhand how much is paid out to witnesses (I'll have to look at Dalz's most recent report).
So while I'm earning a decent amount of HBD, and need to add in the monthly interest, the way to really do well on Hive is to learn to code useful stuff, and run a witness node with enough people voting for you to at least get into the top 40-50. Shame I can't code, don't know how to run a node and don't know many people..... I guess that tells me what next year's projects should be 😁
It might seem daunting at first, but there are plenty of resources and community members willing to help you learn.
Thank you ! I reckon I'll learn and give it a go. While I appreciate it's likely to cost more to run than it earns unless or until I can get a decent way up the list, even so it will be a good way to give something back to Hive and will do my little bit towards increasing the resilience of the system. 😀
