RE: The Brit List: October 2024

in Hive Statistics • 4 months ago

Love these lists! 🤗
I'm not sure if it's all about the price.
I read a lot about getting new people on board by people who have been here for a long time, reminds me a bit of the pyramid game 😄, but I see some friends not having posted in a while. I think people are feeling ignored even if they're doing all the right things in engaging, long nice looking posts etc.
This thing about "high quality" is the problem in my opinion.
What is that anyhow? After all we're all here to increase value for all and oneself.
I auto-vote to spread the love via the fanbase but most don't return the favour, so I'll review my list soon.

Hive is imperfect and pretty small. You still have to work to get noticed and build your community. I would hope you got some benefit from going to the Hamburg event.

The 'quality' thing can be over-egged. I think if your content is original and people genuinely like it then that's enough. There will be some who churn out junk posts, but will work with others to get some votes regardless. Hive needs to get big enough so that the opinions of the community are enough to make the good stuff get good rewards.

Others say that ease of use is an issue, but it has improved. People need some guidance at the start.

I'm glad you've stuck with it and I hope you get some value. It's not just about money.
