RE: HIVE to HBD Conversions and the Opposite | More HIVE Created from Conversions? | Nov 2024

It seems to me those users converting hbd to hive would do better to buy on the internal market.
'The community' needs to take off the training wheels and start helping the stabilizer, imo.

How much of the total volume of the internal market is the stabilizer?

Sort:

you mean people who received HBD for free from DHF should buy it on internal market? Don't you think whole thing is set up all the way around so they can dump on you, and in effect whole HIVE network suffers, cause you and other users can't win with DHF dump ? There is not much you as user can do when DHF distributes 3M$ per year... Maybe voting return proposal and decreasing that number will have better effect than buying dumped hbd/hive, cause 3m$ is already a lot of money. And how it ends in next 4-5 years, it's huge risk to hold HBD long term, I think most of us believe in crypto, it's much better to tell 'The community' to buy crypto than weakest stable coin in existence.

Buying hive on the internal market doesn't entail a 3.5 day wait.

Even dumping the dhf like they are, the price is still being kept above distributive levels of less than .1usd.
Somebody is buying all that hive to keep the coin from distributing.
The only real solution to this is to buy the dip and power up moar hive.
