Note: when a participant is placing an order and a counter party is one classed as ‘market maker’, the trade is being taken into consideration in the analysis of this report. For example (MM) places order to sell 10k Hive, if the trade includes an actual participant and not another MM then the traded data is part of the calculation.
By definition all trades have an owner that placed the order and a counter party. If either of them is a real participant, then the trade is being taking into consideration.

**Placement ** is calculated by total limit orders created (not necessarily filled) in a given trading date.
Net position ratio for internal market
Date | Net position |
---|---|
10/02/2022 | 0.1 |
The Net position ratio is calculated by number of sell/ total of sell + buy.
A ratio close to 0 indicates a tendency to go long whereas a ratio close to 1 indicates a short tendency. A ratio of 0.5 indicates a balance of buying and selling Hive in a given trading date.

Hey @jelly13 thanks for the feedback and questions.
The following filter is applied
"owner not in ('hbdstabilizer','mika','orinoco','teamsmooth-mm','imwatsi','deathwing-mm','cm-steem')"
A trade must have a owner that placed the order and a counter party who fills the order.
These accounts are using an ORDER_ID that is the same every time so, if these accounts are trading between them the report is not taking that data into the analysis. However if those accounts are trading with on of the accounts mentioned in the report we're still able to report on the data of that trade.
I'm building a separate report that looks at accounts using the same Order_ID so we're able to see trades between Mika & Smooth for example. That report is being worked on and will be included from next week.
It may be that the term MM isn't correct for all of those accounts being filtered out, but they're are using the same ORDER_ID every time, which suggests to me that another tool / bot is being used when scooping up the orders.
Hope this helps to answer your questions!
Agreed. I've just finished writing the statement, it includes volume and prices. I may post something in the next couple hours.
I am also in this group, I do not believe it
You've been included as you used the DEX to purchase hive.
