It's not only a question of how active an account is but the need to power down to pay for necessities which factors into account growth. There's also the question of which countries have disposable income to buy Hive to power up. I think most people will prioritize food and shelter over powering up HIve so I don't fault them for it.
Very true, of course it's not my intention with this post to make any sort of moral judgment on anyone. I do want to see how geographic stake distribution changes over time, although it will be a bit technically complex to look backwards at historic data.
